glad that you are getting less blurry ......it does get better as the day goes on.....and glad that you took a snooze.....Now sit back and relax and enjoy peace and quiet....is it warm there yet.....HOPE SO.

tonight I made chicken, baked taters, carrots for hubby and spinach for me and loved it all....I love spinach. I could make a meal just out of that..

I also made steak soup.....it is actually one of my creations that I oops one day many years ago......it was to liquidy for beef stew and had run out of potatoes...so added some pasta and loved it...

Then one day I made it and added more bouillon cubes and gravy master and chopped my carrots up so fine the kids didnt know they were in there..
added whatever pasta I had.....four hand fulls...and voila.....steak soup....it is delicious..so should have enough for the week....instead of that dreaded italian sandwich I walked down to get at the corner store......oh well..

Mony - Bummer on the car keys. That's almost as hard to live down with the hubby as running out of gas . . . not that I'd know I'm getting pretty tired of driving home on slippery roads.

Pumba - Yikes on your son's accident!!! Thank goodness he and his family are OK. Your soup sounds yummy. I made chili last night and that tasted pretty good for lunch today.

Nabbie - Did you figure out someplace to go today since you finally had the car??! As Sandy said, we'll have to set up a virtual exercise time. I sure wish I could go fast on a treadmill or elliptical. I'm just not there yet -- not sure if I will ever be there with this dang knee no matter how where my weight ends up.

bbn - I recently changed my alarm clock to play the radio on an easy listening station and finally heard some Buble this morning

..well just like i suspected....our guide is out on extended medical
leave. it's a lil' shocking...that the office..had no idea..until we
kept calling & asking questions. now that means we have no
body....helping us & all his broken promises. and our critical time
...is fast approaching.

it just figures...don't it? our luck. however, if we hadn't been paying
attention...all things might have been lost.

one good thing, since i have been reading on the dvc boards...i
got a pretty good idea..what we're up against. the dvc department
has alot holes/loopholes...& alot of wolves/shysters working the system.

now all i have time for, are the things..that can effect us. got to talk
with someone tomorrow to see if we are going. the thing is, disney is
pretty good..@ problem solving & corrective measures.[ the secret
..behind..the magic]




he, he, he..i have been a real naughty boy! ha! christmas..eve, my wife
was sitting @ an angle toward the tv...& the reindeer from the santa clause
......was giving her a smooching look....so i took the picture, though
she had no idea...i was going for the special effect.....

...we got our...some of our disney pictures...developed. some are really
cool. like my wife & daughter kissing mater & lighting m'queen.

moo?..i think i know why....mich. been losing to osu..lately? * 'bama
first h. winner,.....is from ....where?

....just gotta love..the big ten network's greatest games...they showed
northwestern/auburn tonight. & though..they didn't win.....that was a
great game for both teams.


fyi,....when i think about it....we had some problems...on our wedding day,

Geez, LilG, hope everything works out for your vacation!!!!

Well, I felt kind of chilly all day yesterday and went to be a little early, cause today was the 6am wake-up that I was really fearing I might miss. I can't rely on myself to hear the alarms... When DS called yesterday, I asked him to call me at 6am. He said you want me to wake up at 4am to wake you up??????? I said , of course, not really expecting him to. Also asked DH to call me at 6:30.

Well, I had a horrible night, waking up about every hour. At 6, a really loud radio went off, but I was sort of ignoring it. The the phone rang, DS actually woke up at 4am to call me So I got up, read my paper in peace and quiet. DH stormed in the door at 6:40, saying he just wanted to make sure I was up, and turned right around at went back to work.
Anyway, left the house at 7:15, in plenty of time to make it by 8. So I look at the car, and it;s covered with ICE! Did NOT count on that So I spent 10 minutes trying to scrape the ice off, pouring water on, etc, and not a single ray of sunshine to help melt it. BUT, I make it by 7:58 and was out by 8:20. Everything is fine. One more follow up appt in a couple of weeks and I'm done.
Called DS at 9 (7 histime). I was sure he'd be up. No such luck, I woke him up when he was trying to sleep in, OOPS!

Appt. with my regular dr. this afternoon, and I have to go to the grocery store and catch up with laundry and dishes, and clean my frigging stove top.

Ok, I'd much rather waste my day away on here, playing games and chatting, but my house is in dire need of an extreme home makeover.

So I am the proud owner of a beautifully cleaned kitchen. Swept AND mopped the floors. You can SEE my counters. ALL the clutter has been put away.

It smells clean. I did pick up all of the toys in the living room, swept AND mopped the floor in there too.

Just in time for the little people to mess it up for lunch.

The bathroom and I need to have a go at it. Boys. I tell you.

I just dragged myself into the shower. Second dr, appt of the day coming up. Think I will leave a bit early and hit the store on the way out and get that over with.

Laundry is put away, dishes are washing. Next 2 loads of laundry are waiting to be processed. WTH, it's just 2 of us??? Mabe ifI did it more often?

I can't get the frigging stovetop clean Hope huby can when he gets home. Not even a pot of water, I tell you! And now some streak of water seems to have leaked in between the panes of the oven door How do I clean that? Take the door apart?

At least its a last a beautiful sunny day here, clear blue skies, and 58 or so. Long time coming.

The weatherman just said we are instore for a heatwave this week. Upper 30's for the most part of the next week! Yea Moo! We can go out without coats and it won't phase us.


Bathroom is done. I won that battle, for now.

I'm thinking of washing the curtains.

One of the little ones said to me, "It smells good in here!"

Hi everyone! I'm at work, but CBM went out for a bit, so I thought I'd pop in and say howdy.

Marita, glad your eye appointment went well. How sweet of your son to get up at o'dark thirty to wake you up!

Mony, way to go on all the housework! Don'tcha LOVE when you walk into a room and everything is neat and clean? (Good thing I'm so easily pleased, eh?) My first floor is in order at the moment, but I REALLY need to spend some time in my dressing room, which seems to be the go-to room for all the misplaced stuff in the house. I also need to weed out the clothes I no longer wear. But that's gonna be an all-day project, so it'll have to wait.

Not much else going on around here. I finished Twilight and am now reading New Moon. I'm breeeeeezing through these books....gonna need something else to turn to soon.


Guess I should get back to work, since I'm supposed to be leaving here in about an hour. TTYL!

Howdy partners..

Thought I would cause a rukus on the restaurant board.......Well I dont want to cause one but it will probably.
I want to know if anyone has ever brought their own WHITE buns to the food courts to get their burgers......I hate those buns they are trying to pass off as buns....YUCK..SO I figured we could bring a pack of white buns for burgers and put them in zip lock baggies and then take out two and bring them to the food court.......when we say two double cheeseburgers we will say NO BUNS please....hahaha

I made cheeseburgers for supper...didnt mean to but what the heck....so instead of doing two cheeseburgers I did two burgers on one bun and omg it was to tall to hold....I ate it anyways....sitting here now and drinking a cup of oolong tea like I do when we go to a chinese restaurant......gotta love that..

we had a sort of heat wave but the winds made it feel cold again.....it got up to 22 and the winds brought it down to the teens again......ROLLING MY EYES HERE.....

Today I started on the kitchen .....yup I want my counter space to be less of the stuff and more for the visual......catch my drift....??? I will find a place for my george foreman grill and then I have three tupperware stand ups with cookies in them.....NOOOOOOOO I dont eat them...honeset
But I did just order three boxes of girl scout cookies from one of my nieces who is selling them.....

SOOOOOo guess I will go and get some more stuff done or else I can play that bowling and tennis game again...I think I am getting tennis elbow or something.....and maybe then I will play the Toy STory mania game...

Pumba -- I hate those buns too! We don't get girl guide cookies until spring now. We sell in the fall and spring.

Hannah is so excited because she get so to go Casa Loma(it is a castle) on Saturday with the Guides to celebrate 100 years of Guiding. Last time we went there on a class trip and she got sick while there so we didnt' get to see it all.

Mony-- I wish I had your energy today. My floor needs another cleaning , I hate winter boots.

Marita-- Are you seeing clear now? Can you tell the difference with both eyes done?

I didn't do much today. Went and got groceries and went to Costco for a few things. A few things really added up though.

Made it second (regular) Dr, appt this afternoon, and what is the first thing he says to me? "Are you on chemo or radiation?" He doesn't have ANY bedside manner! He was referrering to the appt I had 3 or so weeks ago about my lung with the cancer doctor. I told him all was fine. He seemed a little disappointed............ Anyway, he persuaded me to try Chantix for quit smoking. I bought it today, think I will start Monday morning. Wish me luck!!!!!!!

Hubby got the stove top clean, thank god!This should not be this difficult, I got the special stove top cleaner and the special brush
Back to work tomorrow...........

Lil G - Hang in there with your Christmas ressies. Just make sure you call immediately when your window opens and waitlist or take a different view if they don't have what you want right off the bat.

...thanks moo. well, this isn't going as planned & we are on
our own....our guide is gone & this will be our first time ever,
@ a very busy time, and there only 20 1~bedrooms , with
mk views.

...our guide told us, "once upon a time,....you can call me for
anything or any problem...& i can get you any room you request."

psst, not only once but several times....& now he won't be with us...
even for the very first time. . you sorta know...we're in trouble,
once it became clear..."i" had to get involved?

one of my wife's traditions...is to collect resort pins where we stayed.
our guide was to get one of the first pins @ blt. too bad. from
the cruises, we knew they also gave a few trading pins out....well,
i loss alot of jordan's, when i forgot to zipped the bag. he was
to get her some..but that never happened. * it's little things
like this..that alerted us there might be a problem.......

i hate to think..if we had relied on his help......@ least we 'll have
a chance, by doing everything ourselves.

* also even though, he did give us fast passes last july, they didn't
help..with the things...my daughter wanted to do.....& therefore,
we only got to used one section.

..i wonder,,if ever asked if the cindy's bedroom...is ever opened to
peep inside during the day?..yep , we asked him to check...on this
....& i am guessing ...like everything else.

"welcome home", but don't let the door hit you..on the hiney on
the way back out? .. come to think of it....he sure acted
liked an in~law,


..however, in all fairness, i don't think/// our ex-guide..meant this. i think
he got sick, & things were missed & no body..picked up the slack. [ they
even thought..he was still in the office] . & through..our other misfortunes,
...disney does try for corrective measures.



ever get a feeling..when things not right?....i do that alot. lucky for us..

..it kind of sad.....seeing jordan "getting too big", & thats why i wanted
to get her up..to see the castle..before she's toooo big. anyhoot,
i mentioned this....from our july trip. i wish you could have seen her..@
tinker bell treasures..."i'm too big daddy"..lil'miss attitude. that's all
right..jordan, you'll daddy will wake her up....boy did that ever get
her going! , those few minutes..were my favorite.

oh, what make you all think...i'm not a saint? ....not because
my lil'cutie...named me....lil'grumpy???before..all of this..is said &
done..me thinks,..the dvc...will see why.

Suppose to get warmer as the week goes by but this morning is darn cold. And I have to go out again to the school this morning for mass. Hannah is all excited because she got picked to serve, which is strange because she serves at church most Sundays.

Nicholas was giving us a hard time this morning because I told him he could not take Friday afternoon off and go snowboarding with two other kids in his class. Hubby warned me about this because both parents were talking about letting their kids take a few Fridays off to go when he was there last weekend. Now of course we are the really mean parents. If I hear Wow come out of his mouth one more time or I don't care......

Just got back from having lunch with DIL and munchkin gd..we had a great time and I did eat more then I should of ...but dang it was good....then we went to the pet store and looked at this lion manned bunny.....it was the cutest thing I have ever seen and then the young cockatiels......we used to raise them when our kids were young.....alot of fun ...I liked chatting with one baby....of course these were near the snakes that Megan wanted to see.....ewwwwwwwww.......not my bag...

Then Sears was having a good sale and clearance...i didnt see anything I wanted but some comforters that were on sale for 19.99 down from 69.00.....ugly colors but who cares.......Not me.....hahaha.

I guess I should think about putting the roast in for a slow cook.....I do have to feed hubby tonight......
