Haha there's this BIG blue stripe on the bottom of the list! 4 of us in a row!

Yay for Team Blue :cheer2:

A Carters store opened in the shopping center 5 min from my house. I am in serious trouble! I went in today and found a cute set....it was a short sleeved onsie, long sleeved onsie and a pair of navy blue knit pants....the set was $5.99.....couldn't resist. DS is due late Aug and it's such a strange time to plan for clothes. We live in New England so it could be warm until October or it could get very cold mid September.....

Piecy: We have picked out a name. Colton Liam. :)

Lots of boys lately!

Ohhh super cute! I like it. :goodvibes

That's sad about Gabe's Mommy. Ugh, some people can be *brutal* around here. A few I've posted about things like carseats got heated, and I jumped ship, lol. I unsubscribed and never looked back. I don't see why things get so crazy. Honestly, as long as you're not abusing, neglecting, or setting your kid on fire... I really don't care! It's not my business.

Oh, and I stink at names too. That's why I just stick with DIS names. :surfweb:

I went wild in our Carters outlet (I don't see why it's an outlet, or maybe it's a regular store in an outlet mall?) I think I got the same thing! Actuallly I bought a few things like that. I loooooove Carters for babies. I can't find squat for DD, though.

We're in PA, it's the same here, it could be warm until mid-Oct or cold after Labor Day. :confused3 Or worse-- a mix!

This may sound like an odd question...but, does anyone know if there is any reason why it would be bad for the baby to be very active? VERY active. This is my fourth child and I do not remember any of the other kiddos kicking/twisting/twirling/dancing in my belly this much! I know the placenta is behind the baby and when we had the ultrasound, the sonographer said I could probably feel the baby more since there isn't much of a buffer between she and I.

Not that I've ever heard of! DD was really active, too. My placenta was in the front, and I could see and feel her *through* it. She's just a busy bee of a kid!

I figure this one is so active because I'm actually taking my anti-depressants this time... Wellbutrin is quite the upper....

I always wondered about the Carters outlets too, prices don't seem cheaper than the regular stores :confused3

DS was crazy active, like non-stop all the time. And he was the same way when he got out too! :rotfl2:

I've only ever been to 1 Carters Outlet and I'll never forget the lady who worked there. (I've only been the one time)

Anyway, there was a bin that had mostly socks but a few bigger pieces in it as well and I said "Is this all really $1?" and she goes (snottily) "Yes, those are lastseason."
I about died laughing. Yes, my son cares that they're last seasons clothes. :rotfl:

I got a 2 pc Jacket/pant set that said "Mommy's Little Monster" and 2 pairs of corduroy pants w/ matching button down shirts... for $5!

That was the Outlet @ the Washington, PA outlet mall.

I hope to hit it on Monday with my friend!! :)

.. I barely ever felt Lucas. I had to have non-stress tests (which I/he always failed) and 3 extra ultrasounds because of it. I'd go days @ 30 + weeks pregnant and never feel him move.

Owen has been beating me up today! I've really felt him moving.

It's quiet in here this morning! Maybe you're all as tired as I am. :surfweb:
DD is still asleep.. it's almost noon! I like when she sleeps in, I get a little time to myself, and she's not cranky. It's a win-win.

Oh! I got to try out my new Swiffer Wet Jet this morning. I've been waiting for the darned thing to go on sale, but I finally picked one up at Target last night. I tossed our mop a few weeks ago because it was just getting gross, so my floors need some TLC. It's pretty cool so far, I just wish it had a heavier-duty cleaner in it. Ahh well. Actually I wish there was a vinegar cleaner, for some odd reason it works really well on floors... and I love the smell. Reminds me of french fries with apple cider vinegar on them. Yum!

The weather is driving me crazy. It's been *gorgeous* the last few days, and now today it's back in the 50's. Booo. I liked wearing my shorts and tshirts! I guess I have a few more months to go. Chilly weather makes me want to hop a plane to WDW, lol. :wizard:

Other than that, nothing new going on. Pretty excited that the little bun in the oven is nearly half-baked, that's pretty cool. There are about 4-5 of us around the same point. Woohoo! :woohoo:

edited to add: LOL kids really don't care if their clothes are last season. Silly saleswoman, uneducated in the field of bargains. lol. I'm actually re-buying some of one of the Gap's summer lines from last year on ebay. I liked them so much, I'm getting them in bigger sizes!! lol (and better prices, haha)

How are the rest of you doing today?

LMAO... that must have been really... interesting. LOL at the big "O" during labor, somehow the big "O" and childbirth don't seem to mesh in my mind!! :lmao: One comes before the other, usually about 9 months apart!

It was very interesting. I've thought that about every single birth video I've watched...all of the bouncing on the ball and moaning, looks and sounds just like having the big "O" and it creeps me out! :lmao:

I'm finally starting to get more excited about this boy thing. I still can't help but look at the pink stuff, its just what I'm used to! I thought of a good theme today though, "surfer dude." I've seen a few bedding sets like that, but theyre all mucho mucho expensive. I guess I can get pieces though because we don't really use a bumper or a bedskirt, so that makes it easier. Phew. One thing off the list.

The other thing that's killing me is that I don't have a name for this little boy. I'm kinda digging Nate/Nathan (which would be weird because it ends in the same sound as our last name... ugh) or maybe Josh/Joshua. We like Luke and Logan, but there are already one of each in DH's extended family. It's not like we see them a lot, so I suppose it wouldn't be a big deal, but still. Darn them!! I wouldn't mind something a little "different" like Keoni or Taj... but I'm just clueless. At least I do have time, but still, this little guy needs a name.

I'm very partial to the name Nathan...it was my 2nd choice for a boy name. Good luck picking one though!!

Hi, I'm Nina! I am hopefully going to be a mom-to-be soon. My husband and I decided to wait until after our 1st wedding anniversary on March 28th to start having children, but I tacked on an extra month because we were going to WDW! Now I have one week left on birth control and then it's in the Lord's hands. My mom said it only took her two months after the pill to get pregnant with me, so I'm hoping it takes that 2 months or less. My husband and I are both in our late '20's, so we're ready to add a baby to our little family. My mom-in-law asks me like every week when I'm getting off the pill...LOL. She is ready also I have a grand-baby running around. I'm hoping to join this convo soon with some happy baby news! :dance3:

WELCOME!:goodvibes

It's a BOY!!!!

Everything looked great on the ultrasound; it was so exciting to see the little guy in there; last time I saw him he looked like a blob, LOL. He was not modest, and the tech said after doing this for thirty years she had zero doubt.

The ultrasound tech said he is extremely active; and I found out the pain in my side and pressure I've been feeling comes from when he puts is feet on my bladder; he did that a few times during the exam!

We are very excited...we would have been either way, but it's so exciting to have seen him and know!

Have a great day everyone!

YAY! I'm glad everything looked well in there!

It got cold here. :(

I am trying to clean the kitchen. I reorganized the tupperware cabinet (ugh, does that place turn into a mess for anyone else or just us?) I'm seriously considering throwing away everything and rebuying all those Rubbermaid Easy Find ones where the lids click to the bottom of the container.

It got really cold here so I made a cake really quick. My excuse is that the oven hepled warm up the house. :rotfl:

I think I'm going back in there. Going through the rest of the cabinets and then I'm mopping. Very exciting day around here.

Now you've done it... everyone is going to want cake again. :)

ETA: anyone seen ZPT lately? did she have the baby?

Now I want to make cookies!! I have a "cookie log" in the fridge, I guess today would be a good day to bake them. Nom nom nom...

Our tupperware cabinet is a mess too, I try to keep it in order, but I think for the most part its a lost cause because they're at least three different brands *and* chinese food containers. I thought of getting the rubbermaid easy finds but I think it'll just turn into a mess again, lol.

Yeah our day is super exciting too :sad2: Sooooo bored. I even cleaned DD's stroller seat and hood. Thats when you know you're bored!

Nette: I haven't heard a peep. It's like half of the other mommies-to-be disappeared. :sad1:

I think the thread sorta goes through stages. The holiday and everything, too... lots going on lately.

Yeah. I'm bored. But I think I'm going back to cleaning. I had a piece of cake and I think I'm now going to warm up my leftover food from my birthday dinner. Mmm... filet mignon, chicken and noddles hibachi style. Yum.

"Yes, those are lastseason."

Oh my God! You put your son in last season's clothes?!? :scared1: ;)

DD is still asleep.. it's almost noon!

Your DD sleeps til noon?!? Is that a morning nap or from bed the night before? DS never sleeps past 8 AM.

We have the Swiffer Wet Jet too - love it! I bet you could refill the bottle with whatever you want after it is used up. :thumbsup2

I did the same thing with one of the lines from Gymboree 2 years ago!

I am trying to clean the kitchen. I reorganized the tupperware cabinet (ugh, does that place turn into a mess for anyone else or just us?)

Our tupperware is always a mess too. We even have a bin just for lids but for some reason, some people don't put them in the bin. I think they just open the door, toss it in and close the door.

Now you've done it... everyone is going to want cake again. :)

I haven't seen ZPT either :confused3

That's funny, we just went to a Japanese place for lunch, then came back and had a piece of red velvet cake for dessert! :goodvibes

Love the name Colton :thumbsup2

We have a Carter's store about 15 minutes away but I am trying to wait a little longer before I start shopping. I am heading to Kittery, ME outlets tomorrow to the Motherhood Maternity store - my coworkers have said their deals are worth the drive - I started wearing maternity jeans earlier this week and I need plus size maternity so it is not as easy to find locally. I want to be able to try it on......

Happy belated birthday Piecey!!! :wizard:

Oh and Mrs. C - Nathan is our top pick for a boy's name as well - you have impeccable taste!!!;)

I had high risk OB appt this week and first trimester screening (I think on here most everyone calls it N/T) - all is well and things look great. Doc even said I may be able to deliver locally (if they deem me high risk - I have to deliver 1 1/2 hour away at hospital in Lebanon, NH) barring any unforeseen complications.

Baby waved during the ultrasound - little hand up by the face - we got to take a pic home - my DH was so excited he posted it on facebook with a comment that his baby waved at him - got a ton of replies - he is so excited!

We had a great day today! My sister had a little girl early this morning and DH and I visited this afternoon. She is beautiful and the most amazing thing happened while I was holding her. I had her in my arms and all the while my little guy was moving and kicking. This went on for about 30 min. It was almost as if the two cousins were communicating with each other. Sounds silly I know but it was a very cool feeling.

We also had an OB appt this morning and took DD with us because my "babysitter" aka my sister was busy ;) DD got to hear her "bouncing baby brother's" heartbeat and she was so excited. She told everyone she saw today about it.

Piecey - Happy late birthday! I would have posted it in my earlier post but I literally had 2 minutes before I had to leave for work...

As for where ZPT is...here is what she posted on Facebook today:

"Headache is still pretty bad, floaters too, BP was okay today at the office, swelling is bad, but FINALLY! we have a date. If nothing happens over the weekend I go in Monday for an induction which is 39 weeks exactly according to the later due date

I have migraine meds to get me through the weekend and Ambien so I can get some rest"

So hopefully the next time we hear from her she will have a birth story for us!

Thanks for all the compliments on our name; we are so excited. DH even let me buy a few things for the little guy yesterday. I wanted to buy everything in sight, but he made me leave before we lost all self-control, LOL

Mmm...hibachi-style noodles and cake. DH HATES the hiabchi restaraunts; don't think I can get him to go for that, and I have no cake mix so it would have to be from scratch. Don't know if I'm up for that...I am still getting sick about 2-3 times a week; including this morning.

Odd experience: DH and I are leaving to go to NYC and do a cruise in less than two weeks. Doctor said everything was perfect; no worries, go... I am petrified of something happening, especially now that we have seen the little guy. I have no reason to think anything will, but I am actually having panic attacks over this. I think it is just hormones messing with me (I am a worrier by nature, but usually a calm traveller). It is to the point I seriously don't want to go at all, which is absolutley crazy. IDK why I am being like this...we don't have another appt before we leave (the next one is about a weeks after we return), but everything looked great Thursday...I am rambling now in my craziness...Ugh, I need to calm down!

Hope everyone is having a great day! It is beautiful here!

Maybe you should tell your doc how scared you are and tell him exactly what fears you have. He probably has an explanation for everything and can tell you why it's ok to go. Maybe hearing that instead of that everything is perfect will help to make you get more excited about this upcoming cruise. I went to WDW when I was about as pregnant as you are now and I was afraid of vomiting on the plane and the bumpy bus rides and all the walking. I really was afraid something was going to happen but I talked to my parents and they said "pregnant people go on trips all the time" so it helped to just get some of my fears off my chest. I hope you're able to do that too!
