Honestly I just plan on going to the base hospital (Bethesda actually) for Peds visits. I've heard good thing about the Peds docs there, and they have a whole host of specialists right in the same building. I'm not one to delay vaccines so that's not a real selling point for me. The only one I'm a little cautious about is the chicken pox vaccine. I can see why you'd want to vaccinate, because there are people who have very bad reactions to contracting varicella. These days, since most people get the vaccine for their kids, the chances of a kid contracting it are slim, and the risk of long term effects rises as you get older. So anyhow.. that's one I'll likely do but be a little... weird on, I dunno how to describe it.
