UGH, i thought i had clicked on this thread only to find that it had grown to like 60 pages and much of it revolved around a fridge then i realized i was on a fridge swap thread I AM IN FULL IDIOT MODE TODAY. but anyway im planning to ignore my BOSS' MEMO that stated we were no longer allowed to eat in our offices and heat up my fried rice from last night...

If nothing else this thread should remain (or the original brought back) because it has proven to bring smiles to many faces. I was trying to ignore all of this but it causes such happiness that I had to say thank you to all of you. Now I can go back to ingnoring you all again.

This has got to be the best thing I've ever ignored! I wasn't a part of ignoring the first page...didn't know it was there; so, maybe that can count as ignoring to the utmost. However, this thread is funny and I'd like to actively participate in ignoring it as long as it sticks around! Subbing!

I must admit, I do not know when Otter Day is, but would love to mark it on my calendar so as to not miss the festivities. Exactly what are we expected to do to celebrate Otter Day? If you get to drink Diet coke at Otter Day, I am in! Of course, I'll have to ignore my doctor who says no caffeine BUT since this is the ignore thread anyway, its almost like part of the plan. Is Otter Day an official holiday that I can ask off of work for? And what, exactly, do you do other then drink Diet Coke?

I always ignore otters. They are too short for me. Maybe kimmar could fix their hair, poof it a little, and they'd be a lot taller then.

But I definitely like them more than lobsters.

Otter Day, a special day born from the heart of a 4 year old. A day to celebrate all things otter, and drink Diet Coke. Even the otters drink diet coke. I believe Dancemom can help with that.

Anyways, it seems to have started, as many things do, with hearing incorrectly. Something happened the "other" day, and DD heard "otter" day. Therefore, the next day must be otter day. She was exceedingly happy about it and all the otter pictures. And, of course, we need to celebrate it yearly. If only the mods would give us back our thread so that we can all make note of it on our calendars.

I believe we should petition to make it a national holiday.
