So how many inches do you predict we will get tonight?

I just got back from picking up DD20 at work a few mins ago. Roads here in Carroll Co are covered. No email from the school cancelling tomorrow yet but I'm hoping. I hate getting up at 6 am just to watch the cancellations and then be too awake to get comfy again so I love how they've been emailing the night before to let parents know this year.

Last estimate I heard was 1-3 but we're not far from the PA line and mountains so we tend to get a bit more. After Howard Co goofed a few yrs back and had kids stranded at schools b/c the snow didn't stop as anticipated, our county's been really good at cancelling when more than an inch or two is anticipated. Guess we'll see...

Sorry but we stocked up on Diet Pepsi! So feel free to ignore me.

Well they were calling for snow, maybe your store was out of diet coke. Hopefully you ran out and bought all the bread, milk and TP like a good Marylander faced with the probability of half an inch of snow.

Just as long as you realize that this is a snow emergency situation and diet pepsi will not negate the calories of things eaten with it like diet coke will. Don't, I repeat, don't bake those brownies tomorrow when you're stuck inside. Think carrot sticks and such...

Well Mom's visiting so I haven't had time to hang out tonight, but you guys are just cracking me up. Unfortunately, I'm headed to the Poconos tomorrow and won't be back until Sunday and there is not computer access there. I'm going to have a lot of catching up to do when I get back. Please don't forget me, or replace me. And please, don't eat all the cockles. Save some for me, okay?

Another nice thing about Homeschooling-no watching for closings. We do have an ice skating class in the morning but we love going out in the snow (gives us a real reason to use that big oh gas guzzler) Last big snow we went to Wegman's just because-lol.

Last snow day I bake THREE types of cookies. Less than two weeks to Disney trip so NO MORE COOKIES...I am working out twice a day so I can have one of those Butterfinger Cupcakes from Starring Roles when I get there...(uh...does Disney have Diet Pepsi...)
