MNSSHP What Costume are You Wearing?

My mom is making us all PIRATE costumes. I have an old alice costume and my DD has a minnie costume and my mom was going to just make dh and DS pirate costumes but she figured to celebrate the fact that she is coming along for the first time in five years that we should ALL be matching, coordinating pirates. So if you see a group of three adults and too children dressed as pirates with matching black/white stripes AND blue paisley fabric on Oct. 2 that will be US!!!

My costume will have a peasant blouse and corset...sort of wenchy. I've looked at several SLEEK knee high boots at thrift stores but I can't figure out if I can handle 6 hours in them. My dogs would be BARKING!

yea the boots would be nice but then it is NOT fun when your feet hurt! maybe some black crocs or just some "swashbuckling" sandles arrr!!

DH and I are going as Beauty (yellow dress) and Beast-as-human (no heavy, furry costume!). You're never too old to dress up!

My 10 year old son and I are going as pirates. My son uses a wheelchair , we are making a cover for his wheelchair into the shape of a pirate ship....the stern of the ship! He is very excited! He will be sitting in his ship. Ahoy to all!

Our first MNSSHP and first time onsite!!!!!

My DH will be in Red Sox clothes...and me... New England Patriots clothes. ( Tom Brady, I love you ) Then we grownups can be comfortable!

We are going with another family...we both have 2 DD's. My youngest DD4 will be Snow White and the rest of us will be the dwarfs. We are probably going with minimalist costumes -- t-shirts with the dwarf names and probably dwarf hats and beards. We can't wait! We've had plenty of WDW trips, but this is our first MNSSHP.

ScrappinGran, I'm with you. I am either going to be wearing a Boston Red Sox or New England Patriots shirt & hat. I am afraid that if I dress up too much, I am going to be too hot.

DS,8,... Davy Jones (from POTC although the Monkees dude would be good, too!)

We actually went as all of these when my DD was 1 year old...of course she can't fit into that costume anymore! We won "Best Costumes" at the party we were at, so it is like an anniversary celebration for us!

Angel from "RENT" is a great costume...will this be the Santa outfit??? How cool!

Everyone's costumes sound cool! I haven't ready anything about tinkerbell costumes... why would a tinkerbell costume be offensive?

It's not really offensive, it's just that the one I would like to buy (i.e. doesn't cost 100$, actually looks like Tinkerbell's and doesn't have inflatable wings (those have got to be uncomfortable!)) is a short tube dress...

I might buy it anyways since I will not be wearing it with heels, a push-up bra and a thong (as the lady on the package does!!!), but with sneakers and boy shorts...
