Hi. I'm in the process of editing my photos for MM. Is it best to save all pics as 8x10 so that they are the highest resolution? I realize it will take more memory to do so when I download. Then if I want to, I can still print any size up to 8x10 with good resolution. Just looking for some opinions on this. Thanks!

I don't know if the size really makes a difference in the resolution of the photo. Where it does make a difference is when you put the boreders and stickers on the photos. If you alter the size after you download the photo, it could cut off part of the border/sticker unless you want white area around the photo. I only adjust the size of the photo if I think it is likely that I will print it in a larger size. If it isn't likely or I haven't made edits to the photo, I usually leave it in just the 4X6 size.....it will later enlarge to a 8X10 just fine.

Since I haven't known how I'm going to print them (and I have never actually printed a photopass picture, sigh), I literally save each end-edit in each size. I don't want to make an awesome black and white, focused in, with a border and a sticker picture, save it in 4x6 then want it in 5x7. Because when I go to print that 4x6, zoomed in, stickered, picture in 5x7 it's GOING to cut some of it off. And that won't make me happy.

So I save each edit I like in every size.

Now if you aren't going to add borders or stickers or anything; if you aren't going to zoom in at all or change the orientation, then you'll probably be safe just saving it in one size. I don't; I still save the plain pictures in each size as well. But then I don't have photoshop or any other picture editing software, so I'm kind of stuck with what I have from them.
