MM Warriors Part Deux (As of October 27)

I'm drinking Trader Joes' decaf chocolate flavored tea. Man, does that get me through dessert time in a pinch! I also love Celestial Seasonings English Toffee tea. O carbs, 0 sugar, 0 caffeine. Yummo.

Oh, goody, Horizon Organics makes reduced fat cheese and it's highly rated as healthy compared to other cheeses! Problem solved. They probably don't make the convenient shredded Mexican flavor, but I can manage. Since we are all walking around with cancer cells we don't want to give them a reason to take off growing. When I first started trying to feel better I went organic and hormone free and it seemed to really help.

64 ounces or more. Page 167 describes water needs.

Thanks for all of your help!

Thanks so much Nell, but I am still on how much green tea we should be drinking daily!!

I just had 2 teabags worth mixed with something else. I will probably be up half the night, though. I'll start earlier tomorrow:lmao:

Opps. You have to specify with me! :rotfl:

Kate, the site was www.quitnet.com It is awesome and I credit them with helping me through the rough first month. They are like us, very personable. I actually have a coupe good friends from there I still talk to almost daily. Let her know my screen name is Katey66 and to send me a private message (they call them qmails) and I'll be more than happy to "buddy up" with her. Also, tell her in the library, there is a downloadable copy of the book
"The Easy Way to Quit Smoking" by Allan Carr. It really helps with the mental part.

Thank you, Kathy! I hope your knee feels better!

Date night! Love you all!

I took DH out to dinner since he has been working so hard. Well, we have both been working really hard but he doesn't have a choice about his situation and since I am my own boss, my stress if different. He had a nice, big martini and fell asleep as soon as we got home!

I hope you had fun!

Beverly - enjoy your vacation and enjoy your family time! I am counting the days until my daughter comes home for Thanksgiving!

That sounds like a loving and thoughtful thing to do. I don't like Dr. Phil a whole lot but one thing he said always sticks with me. He said that going home to your mate should be your soft place to fall in a world that can be really hard.

Nell - that is so true! He is so sweet to me when I come crabby. He will lovingly/jokingly ask if I need to go back outside and come back in. Somehow, it always makes me laugh and I feel better. I am not a big Dr Phil fan either but that is a keeper.

Hey, Natalie! How was that first class flight? I hope that you were treated like the MM princess that you are!

I wonder if Tom is having any pre-wedding jitters? Hmmmmmmm..... I like the idea of Halloween for a wedding anniversary.

Wouldn't that be fun! Every year you could have a party and have costumes to go along with a stage of the marriage. Start out as Bogie & Bacall, then Ozzie & Harriet, then Archie & Edith from All In The Family :lmao:

Great idea! My assistant come to work today as Lucille Ball and she brought her chihuahua - he was Ricky! She is an amazing seamstress and both of their costumes were over the top - she made a little suit jacket and tie for Ricky. Laura, my assistant, was even wearing a red wig!

Thank you for the zap Laura! I'm going to stay off of the scale!

My Thanksgiving this year is going to have a whole lot of Christmas overtones. :) That's why I'm so on the ball with the Holiday theme. Because my parents are coming for thanksgiving, I'm going to be completely decorated for the holidays the first week of November. Well, maybe not outdoor decorations! :lmao: People will think I'm a nut! I am, but why advertise it? :rotfl:

I am still pretty tired, but am hoping that leaves soon. I slept again all afternoon and when I got up I had dinner ready for me! It was so nice. I had to add an applesauce. My next feeding is at 1:45am. I feel like a newborn needing a bottle, lol. Which is perhaps an apt comparison considering we've all opened a new chapter of wellness!
