MM Warriors Part Deux (As of October 27)

Morning all, Happy Halloween to all you MM Halloweenies!!:wave2::clown::firefight:joker:princess::hippie:

Kate - Nope, no cupcakes til tomorrow when I am off and have done my shopping! Still thinking about sliding in some flax on the boy though! Have to get my step 2 stuff...heres hoping I get it right this time! Its going to stink if I dont lose anything more for 5 weeks though , like others have reported...I REALLY wanted to be thinner for Christmas! DARN, maybe my concerted efforts at the gym and my shakeology will make some difference.

Kathy - I still have periodic aches and pains days, especially when I first get up in the morning,,,mine are achy in the hips mostly...I know thats WEIRD, but just feels like they are sore or something...knees have always been bad too, since I was such a jock in high school and had to have several arthrosoopic surgeries...Im so used to that I dont even really notice it anymore. Seems like the cold weather brings it on more for me. Once I am up and moving around it usually goes away. Now that I think about it though maybe its because I am so FREAKING OLD!! :lmao:

Cant believe I will have to spend a couple hours of my day off tomorrow grooming ponies...the little brats are covered in dried mud from their roll-a-thon in the rain the other day! Hard to believe these were once very fancy show ponies, with their hair done every day, their legs all wrapped up in bandages, and shampooed and blow dried regularly! they look like they were brought up on the wild plains and abandoned!! funny thing is they are so much happier now, just being ponies....they are all getting so old now, they just let it all hang out! Like ME I suppose!!:yay:

Have to work, then the gym, so will be here a little earlier tonite! Hopefully Mr Jetlag will have slept off his flight hangover and be in touch later!

DONT FORGET LADIES - NO CANDY!! Go for the "TRICKS" instead of the treats!! I used to be able to do a cartwheel or two, OMG that would be a hoot right about now! Pony would be in the hospital for repairs!!

I can't wait to hear your report on the Shakeology. No cartwheels for you Missy! Although, I must say that I don't think of us as old!!! I have to work today too. DH is working but what else is new? Poor guy. I can just picture your ponies. One of my clients was in the other day after we had some rain and he said that his horses had been rolling the mud and that had some grooming to do too! I bet your ponies are much happier letting it all hang out! I am hoping that you get a nice, loooonnnnngggg chat with Ken later.

Good morning Kate and Robin.
I hope you both have a great day at work. It has just started raining here. I think I may need to get one of those big golf umbrellas.

Robin, I am pretty used to the aches and pains. Have had them for years as well. But this week they are really bad. Especially my knee. But as long as I keep going, I will be ok. Is there a little engine that could smilie? LOL

I hope you all have a great day today!!

Also, where do you get the shakeology at? I would like to have them when I start step 2. I am thinking that will be the Monday of Thanksgiving. That is with about 15 days added to my step 1.

I also found out that there is 5 grams in my 2 teaspoons of D-Ribose. It stated it on the bottle DUH! LOL

Kathy - have fun at the football game! Stay dry.

It was kind of weird. Mike had gone outside and looked around. He said how nice it was out.
I took Tyson out 5 minutes later, it's windy, and raining. I had to go out in the yard so Tyson would do his business. He absolutely HATES the rain. He'd hold it all day if I let him LOL.

Good morning ladies - Well this will probably be my only post until tonight. We have a big day ahead of us. Baking cupcakes, Harvest Festival and then trick or treating. The boys are SOOOOOOO excited.

I hope everyone has the strength to stay away from that BAD candy. If you get the craving, eat a nice piece of dark chocolate or a protein bar.

All 4 boys and I put together our little halloween baggies last night and NONE of the candy interested me at all. Even less after I looked at how many carbs were in a tiny piece of candy bar. It's crazy.

I got my lowcarbu package yesterday and last night I had my everything bagel. It was delicious! Thanks for the recommendation Lisa! I bought two loaves of the Julian bread and stuck them in my freezer. I bought hot dog rolls just incase I was going to have hamburgs and hot dogs (not typical in the winter but who knows). I bought the pumpkin syrup and was very disappointed. Ever since I've gone decaf, I also have been completely sugar free. It was too sweet and now I don't know what to do with it...

Lisa - I hope your date night was romantic!

Robin - Hope you hear from Ken today.

Natalie - I hope you are having a FANTASTIC time at Disney.::MickeyMo

Nell, Bev, Kate, Kathy, Jocelyn, Gina, Barb, Carol, Sharon, Melanie, Honeygram, Stwill HI!!!!!

Tom - I wish you the best and hope your Wedding day is sheer bliss!:cloud9:

If I missed anyone I'm sorry! Have a Happy and SAFE Halloween everyone.

God Bless you my girlfriends!!party: and Tom...

Seabreezes;
Thanks to all who have me as a friend on Facebook. I now have to figure out how to use it:lmao: I signed up for Diane's info. Our cousin's daughter even works for Facebook - but have not gotten involved.
Love to ALL:love:

Jocelyn, So happy to know I'm not the only one that doesn't use Facebook. I had so many people asking me to join that I finally gave in, but I don't have a clue about using it. :confused3

Makes me feel like a total dunce to admit that. It's probably my senior paranoia that keeps me from trying, all the bad stuff you hear about.

The wonderful thing is the possibility of connecting with long, lost friends. i Have searched for a few people but there are so many with the same name and if there's no photo it's impossible. maybe I will put up my high school photo - the people I would like to find me would never recognize the current me, at least I hope not. :scared1: I would be very upset if they did! :sad2:

Weekly fireworks sounds wonderful - a year-round party:

Have a fun HALLOWEEN!!

Morning Cindy, have fun with the kids today. Since I'm the pumpkin queen, I immediately thought of how to use your pumpkin syrup :) Take some cream cheese, whipping cream, pumpkin pie spice and the syrup and whip it up into a pumpkin mousse  I made need to try that myself..

SharronLee - I started using FB because my kids were on it. That was a couple of years ago. I think that there is way to limit your search. For example, I think you can search for people that went to your high school? The only thing I know for sure is how to log on and about 1/2 the time it says the site is down for maintenance....:confused3

Sounds DELISH to me!

Robin: I said I didn’t lose lbs. the first 5 weeks of Step 2 but I notice I am smaller about every week or two. Yesterday, I went down a size in my favorite Eddie Bauer tops. I went to replace the ones I hang out around the house in since they had olive oil stains from cooking, lol, and the smaller ones fit better.

Loved reading your posts this morning. Everyone was so up and cheery. Isn't it neat that we are excited about a holiday for all the right reasons instead of the food!

The darling new little girl behind us wants me to save her pink candy for when she comes by as a princess. I'm going to find her something special.

Happy Halloween everyone!pirate:princess::joker::firefight:stir:

Cindy - your BIG day sounds like so much fun. I can't wait to hear all about it later.

Daniele;Hey, can we bring a Chrismoose on our Godiva ride? :yay::yay::yay:

Hope Robin has a team of pack mules to carry all the stuff!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

So much has been added to the origional idea, could it be an attempt for camouflage? Has anyone kept up with all the additions to the origional idea?

Your new table sounds very nice. It will be wonderful having your family around it for your "Thanks-Christmas" celebration.

Your family will have a surprise. Have you shared photo's of the new you with them?

How is your DH feeling?

It's so hard for me to keep up with posting but please know that you are truly in my thoughts and prayers every day. You have inspired me to keep going when I've been so tempted to give up.

Have a FUN HALLOWEEN!

:woohoo: on the smaller size. I love Eddie Bauer for casual clothes. We have an Eddie Bauer Outlet about 20 minutes from here. It will be one of the places we head to next week when my daughter's here :lovestruc

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE !!!

Lisa, I didn't like Green Tea at all, but have developed a taste for it. Started out with 2 tsp of Splenda in a mug just to get it down and decreased gradually to about 1/4 tsp per mug. I found one I can drink without sweetner, it's Bigelow Green Tea with Pomegranate. Ingredients are: green tea, apple, natural pomegranate flavors (soy lecithin) hibiscus, rose hips, & licorice root. Does that sound OK? You are my "go to person" for naturl food advice. You've opened my mind to a lot of issues.

I enjoy the Green Tea after dinner & any time I want a snack but don't really need one. Seems to settle me down.

Have fun with your Trick-Treators tonight. I'm sure you don't have to worry about tricks. I miss seeing the little ones all dressed up. It's always the little kids that make holidays fun and so special.

Yay on the smaller tops! We have an Eddie Bauer outlet that I love! I always find good deals there and the clothes last forever. The sweatshirt that I am wearing right now came from Eddie Bauer.

I didn't tell you but I love your carriage lights! I wish we got trick-or-treaters at our house.

SharronLee: I think as long as the fruit in your tea is from essences without carbs, and I'm nearly positive it would be, you are fine! You'll get used to it without sweetener. I'm from KY and we drink tea all year so it was a leap to go without sugar and then another leap to give up black tea, but we all love the green now. Mom always makes peach green tea. My BIL (from Rhode Island) asks in her accent for 'paach taey".:rotfl: Try the mint sometime. I even found cherry at Cost Plus. It's my company tea.

I love you, Kate! More and more alike every day, we are! I call my Eddie Bauer clothes my Oregon clothes. It's where I can wear cute clogs and snuggly clothes and be away from the snobby ladies in my community and act more like my authentic self. Someday my location will probably match my spirit more. I hope you have fun decorating for Thanksgiving. J-P bought his plane ticket and I decorated today so I could feel like it's around the corner, lol! I have pilgrims and Indians and a carved turkey. Fun! I'm off to find pink candy for the little sweetie around the corner. princess:
