I feel like yuk tonight. It's the second day on step two so maybe I'm having issues as my liver refills. I keep flirting with a headache. I took my two aspirin 1 Tylenol mix. That usually seems to do it. I am setting the clock for every 4.5 hours still and having my 11-20 carb when the alarm goes off. It seems to be working well for now. My next feeding is 1am. I don't care that it's waking me for now. Down the road I might start making a meal schedule. Especially if I start school, I'm going to need to. I don't mind so much with my awesome table! Yes, small things thrill me to no end!I am resisting taking a photo of my table and posting it for everyone, so I'm doing good.
I did ok with the oatmeal, but Jocelyn's suggestion is going to make it much easier. I think it was more than one person who suggested I use flax meal to bulk it up, and it worked great! I couldn't even taste it with the cinnamon! So, let's see today I had
1. 6 triscuts with hi fiber all fruit and a Nathan's dog. 11:30
2. egg sandwich on a 5 carb wrap and 1 pack sf applesauce 4pm
3. oatmeal and scambled eggs 8:30 pm
(I know that's a lot of eggs and I will change that when I get to go shopping this weekend)
So tonight:
4. Smoothie with ingredients added to bring it between 11-20 carbs. 1am
5. Applesauce 5:30am
6. Breakfast 10am
My only issue is being able to wake up at 10am. Hopefully I can sleep tonight. If I cannot wake up I'll replace breakfast with another applesauce and go back to sleep again at 10.
Evening Lisa. Yes, finally this afternoon. It killed me to have to wait all day to tell her. I tried to call my DH but he was outside and didn't answer. That's when I came here and posted to you all, I had to tell someoneMy director sounded very happy and relieved. The prosecutor's office is in the process of setting up the protocols now so it will still be several weeks before we get to sit down with them and go over the details. We have done similar work for them in the past so it will be an easy startup.
The weirdest thing happened today. After I got this good news, I had a thought pop into my head about what we could have for dinner and dessert tonight to celebrateI haven't used food in relation to my emotions for so long that it really hit me. Tonight when I got home we had some decaf coffee with Jocelyn's low carb Irish Cream, then pot roast, salad and broccoli. That and good conversation was our celebration

Thanks Lisa!! Do you have a Raley's in the area? They were in the health food section in Jackson. I now buy the black soy beans dried and cook them in the crock pot - that's because Safeway quit carrying them in cans!! At least they have the dried beans. If there is an Oriental food store you could call and see it they have them.
I noticed a couple of you were going to Ross and Marshall's. If you like the Da Vinci syrups you might look in the food section. They ususally have then for a really good price.
Nell - There are 4 Tablespoons to a 1/4 cup.
I'm back. Thanks to everyone who shared in my happinessI can't get ahold of my director to let her know that we most likely have been saved. I can't wait to tell her. She is so supportive and the best mentor I've ever had. I'm especially glad to be bringing her some happy news because the business' finances have been so bleak and on top of that she lost her daughter to cancer recently.
I'll be back in a bit.
Good day everyone!
I just wanted to pop in for a minute to get caught up and say Hi to everyone.I don't dare stay away for more than a day because it's nearly impossible to get caught back up with you all! lol
Audri is coming here today!!All my work is caught up, doctor appointments out of the way and this granny gets to sit and hold her for days and days!! I do feel kind of bad for the other grandparents, my son refuses to spend any time over at their place because they just don't have room for extra bodies. I think I'll survive that decision!

DH works for Ross. He has been with the company for three years. He manages one of the local stores. Given the economic times, the company has done really well the last few years. I have never worked in the corporate world but in my opinion, he works really, really hard and doesn't get rewarded for it. In September, they were putting new shelving in his store and he had to work ALL night long for 5 nights in a row plus put in a most of his normal hours during the day while the store was open. They are doing something else to the store in a few week and he will be working from 11:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m the following day (double shifts). It is always about the numbers for the company and his store always has the best numbers for his "zone" (the zone includes 4 or 5 local districts) and it doesn't seem to mean anything. Well, I guess it means that he has a job. I just feel bad for him. He is burned out.
