I read it on the laughingplace.com. Is this true. Is it listed on the WDW site anywhere?

Another Meet and Greet to take its place. How many M&G's do you need?

Didn't this just open???

Magic Kingdom® Park
The ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter closed on Sunday, October 12, 2003 for re-development. Replacing the attraction will be Stitch's Great Escape which is expected to open in Fall 2004. We recommend Mickey's PhilharMagic during this time.

The Timekeeper - open seasonally

"it's a small world" will not be operating May 2, 2004 until Spring 2005, however we recommend Peter Pan's Flight as an alternative during this time.

Tom Sawyer Island will not be operating July 25 - September 17, 2004 however we recommend Swiss Family Treehouse as an alternative during this time.

The Jungle Cruise will not be operating August 22 - September 3, 2004 however we recommend Pirates of the Caribbean as an alternative during this time.

The Liberty Square Riverboat will not be operating September 9 - 18, 2004 however we recommend Swiss Family Treehouse as an alternative during this time.

Magic Carpets of Aladdin will not be operating September 13 - October 15, 2004 however we recommend Dumbo the Flying Elephant as an alternative during this time.

I saw somewhere that it was supposed to be a new show opening with Jessie, Bullseye, Woody. Where did I read that? If I can find it, I will post a link.

I would LOVE to see a show with Woody, Jesse and Bullseye!! My DS would love that too. You can find Buzz and MK... Woody there too would be awesome!!

It was in the AllEars newsletter. Just said it was shutting down and will have the addition of Woody, Jessie & Bullseye.

That really confused me though cause when I saw the show in December 2003 these characters were in the show along with Goofy, Chip & Dale. Maybe that was just the "Holiday" show and not the regular show though.

It was in the AllEars newletter:

"Goofy's Country Dancin' Jamboree in Frontierland is changing. The current show will end September 4. The redesigned show is supposed to feature Toy Story 2's Jessie, Woody and Bullseye -- we'll have more details as soon as they are available."

I haven't gotten to see any show there at all, maybe I'll get the chance to catch this one.

I agree. We were there in Aug.'03 and those characters were there then. I have video of dd dancing with Woody, hoping that Jessie would get to her. Wonder what the deal is.

That's very strange because the show was still with the Toy Story 2 characters in March. I'll be there next week so I will find out the truth.

i'd like to know the scoop also...this was on my list of things to do in the hot afternoon for a break. well, we didn't get a chance becuz we had to commando MK before hurricane charley arrived....anyway, i hope to do this next year....so, i'll take this post! Thanks!

I dont know about a new show. The Cm's don't seem so optimistic. I wouldnt be surprised if this venue remains empty for a while.

I just got back last Friday and finally got around to doing this show that morning (August 27). It was Country theme with Goofy, Chip and Dale and then Jesse, Woody and Bullseye all came out too. They danced with everyone.

Isn't this show fairly new? What was there before it?

I can't wait to hear if they are changing it yet again.

Went in July and all I can say is not enough CM's to adequately do the summer crowd control. DH and I knew from reading the boards that everyone would be standing up and dancing so we stood while the kids sat. A really rude older man started yelling at me to sit down. I said that when the show started everyone would be standing up anyway so since there was nothing to see I'd just stand. He got all nasty, but I didn't waver. He went and told a CM on me and she said that I could stand and reconfirmed that what I had said was true. The show begins and he gets all up in my face puts his hands on my shoulder--getting too much in my personal space--CM sees it and does nothing, but I move after sternly but politely telling him to take his hand off of me. This really isn't the best venue they could have in there, and like I stated seemed very understaffed in July. Though the show might have been cute, I was too irratated to really enjoy it. I hope it is open in February so I can try it again.

Yes, it's pretty new. The Diamond Horseshoe revuew was there before, and although I haven't seen the Goofy one, from what I've read about it the Diamond Horseshoe was much better. The Diamond Horseshoe was also there forever and this one has not been so that should tell us something.
