Does DCL keep notes in your Castaway Club account? When cruising I always feel like cast members have great memories and I do not Do they keep notes about you in Palo or in concierge? It just seems they remember remarkable things when they see thousands of guests everyday. I agree they are great people and provide great service just wondering how they remember so many things or if there are notes in the system. Thoughts?

Yes they do. On our most recent sailing on the Treasure, our Palo server mentioned that we had been dining in Palo since our first DCL sailing in ~1998.

We just asked our palo server this last week. He actually opened palo on the fantasy many years ago and still works at palo on the Treasure. He said no - he could not see how many times we had dined at Palo (probably 30) - just that we were platinum, so he knew we were frequent diners.

I think so, at least to a certain degree. We were at Palo the other day and our server mentioned something about "checking the notes" and seeing we had dined there before.

I know certain hotel chains keep notes and when a guest is expected those notes are passed to staff.
Dr's offices make notes in people's charts about patients.
WDW keeps at least some kind of notes because I've heard of people who have been banned.
Does DCL? I have no idea but
That's why those people who are disagreeable should be aware that their past attitudes may follow them and be passed along. But again I don't know.

Some of them just seem to have great memories for faces. I was once recognized by a head server that I'd seen on a different ship five years prior. I didn't recognize him until he reminded me about that other cruise.

You can actually say that about many of the crew members.

You can actually say that about many of the crew members.

Absolutely! We had the best photographer on the EBTA way back in 2018. She was always super excited to see my partner and I and made sure to get a photo with us on the last night of the cruise. Fast forward to February of this year, on an Australian cruise on the Wonder, and guess who's doing the rounds taking guest photos in Palo? Almost seven years in between and she recognised us right away.
