MK opening time on party days

Every time we have gone in Oct or Nov the MK has opened at 8am on party days but I am seeing some very random opening times of 8am for party days in Oct and Nov for example some weeks it has an 8am opening one day mid week and then the same mid week it will have a 9am opening time both on party days in the same week. This seems strange to me and I just wondered if anyone else had noticed this.
I don't see them changing it because I see it for this week too. As well as around Veteran's week.

Park hours can vary and there isn't necessarily a pattern. It's best to keep checking as hours can change up until the actual date. I've been in a park when they've announced it is staying open an hour later than published.

Disney generally announces park hour changes about 3 weeks in advance but, that's not to say they won't change again after that.

Yeah MK basically uses that 8am earlier opening on party days when they think it’s most needed. The days it’s left at 9am are when they expect attendance low enough it is not necessary. Keep in mind there is precedent for them changing to 8am much closer to the date. It’s best to check back to make sure it didn’t change.

I noticed this too - fewer 8am openings. We are going 10/31 which is only remaining Halloween party date without an 8am opening. Kinda bummed but oh well. We don't have much flexibility.

yes ours will fall on Xmas party days but either way every trip we've taken that's landed on a party day has had an 8am open and we get so much done from 8-12 on those days. I was just surprised even Veterans Day is at 9am.

You still have time for a time change. You may get lucky.

In August they changed the hours to an 8AM (7:30 early entry) about a week or 2 before. I think a lot of people don't go that early or didn't know it changed. Park was pretty empty for a while!
