MK Firework Show-CG or TT?

I'm preparing to start my reservations soon for our trip 12-23 to 1-2. Staying Club Level, AK most of week (my fave) then a few days at Boardwalk which we've never been. Hubby, me and 12 year old daughter. Been to Disney many times but taking this trip to do things we haven't before. Anyway, what's the better view in your opinion of the fireworks show, the sweet celebration at Tomorrowland Terrace, or the 50th Flavors & Fireworks at Contemporary (which I'm confused, is it in the Cal Grill restaurant, or just catered by them?). Never been to Cal Grill before. Thanks in advance!

PS....may be trying for New Years Eve if possible, are there other better options for either fireworks or celebration type event on new years? I'm not seeing any events specifically for New Years Eve.
