I live in the sticky sticks but own no bovines, ovines or porcines! I do have a creepy little Boston Terrier dog--so you all can come to me with all your prissy doggie needs! :sunny:
Reasonable facsimile of the Mighty Zip-ster:
BostonTerrierPJ3Years2.JPG

Cool! I won't even need a FastPass! :rotfl:
I, for one, appreciate a fine SpeedoHairyGuy shot. Come on, PJ, you know you like to look, too!

I'm dizzy from all the color--just like in the '60's
:hippie:
I have a prissy dog too so we can co-take care of prissy dog needs for all involved. I think Zip and Lucy would get along well.
I won't be offering FastPasses and you will be going to the back of the line for doubting my abilities.
Negative on the hairy speedo man. Not falling for it. My neighbor cuts the grass in a speedo. It's just not good. I can snap some pictures for you if you want.
PJ! Cincinnati has fountain drinks. I'm not talking about "old-fashioned" soda fountains, just normal ones. Something like this:
Fountain20Drinks.jpg

You have Steak and Shake in Cincinnati and they do have chocolate (and vanilla and cherry) syrup for flavoring your soft drink so you can try a chocolate Diet Coke there. It doesn't appear you have any Sonic Drive-In's in Cincinnati, however. The closest ones of those are in Maineville, Hamilton, and Franklin.

Jean, I would post one of me for you but I can't afford to get any more points. Sorry.

Oooohhhh....just a soda fountain!!! I thought it was something special. Got it. Yes, we have those. And Mainville isn't that far. This is ironic because just last night my sister and I saw a Sonic commercial and we were trying to figure out where one is because they're giving away free root beer floats on Thursday and we're all about free food. I think I minored in free food. It goes well with my new major if you'll recall....
:dance3: GOOD MORNING EVERYBODY!!!!! :dance3:

Obviously E and/or Jean are slacking in their morning greeting so I took over for the day!!!! :flower3:
Morning, Trollop. Where is that E character lately?? I should threaten to call her. That would bring her back. Lucky for her I dropped and broke my phone and I won't have a new one until Friday.
I took a few days off from the DIS and realized that it really was taking up a whole lot of my time and have decided that I'm going to limit my posting to the Trip Report Boards. I can't seem to keep up with both :sad2:

I will miss posting with you all on a daily basis but I'll stop by from time to time for a visit and see how you're doing.

For those of you who have TR's - I'll see you over there
I understand. See you in the world of trip reports and that other place too. We'll miss you though!

Hi to anyone I missed. :wave2:

I just got back from meeting my cooperating teacher that I will be working with next year. There will be 2 of us in the classroom. She was very nice and the school looks great. I've never been so excited to start a job. Everything just looks perfect. One of her comments to me really made me laugh. I was just looking around the classroom and talking to her and she just turned to me and said "you really don't ever hold still, do you?" No, no I do not. I was just really excited to meet her and see everything and now I'm still excited because everything was just so great!!!! :hyper: I think I had one diet coke too many.

I understand. I have completely cut back on my DIS time. Don't forget to stop by though!

Hi, Michele! Haven't seen you in a few days. Did you see Pirates? I always think of your old signature with Orlando Bloom when I see you and then I thought of Pirates. I don't know why that stuck in my head.

Aww, my old OB sig! No, I still haven't seen Pirates!!! I need to have someone watch Madeline so I can take the two older girls. She loves Capt. Jack, but there's no way she'd sit still that long. Even for him. :p

How are you?

I wasn't crazy about the movie. I did see it though. Looking back I like it now a lot more than I did when I first came out of the theatre if that makes any sense. There were parts that I so did NOT enjoy though. How old are the older 2? I thought there was a lot of violence in this one. Especially the opening scene.

I'm doing fine. How are you?

Speaking of limiting DIS time, I have to go. Talk to you about pirates later, Michele.

Oh well then I'm definitely glad I didn't take Madeline if there's a lot of violence! My older 2 just turned 6 and 8. They are absolutely dying to see this and Shrek the Third.

I'm doing well. Been soooo busy though. I miss chatting with you.

Please! No more use of the color Lime! :headache: :headache: :headache:

:scared: :headache: :scared: :headache: :scared: :headache: :scared: :headache: :scared: :headache:

Oh...by the waaaay, Rob.......I just happened to notice my diminished status in your siggie!!!!! What up wit dat????? :confused3
Well, comments like the one above don't help! :rotfl2: Seriously, you're never around anymore woman. You thanked me for making you laugh the other day but it's been forever since we've chatted. A man has his needs also.

Hi Michele!

I have a prissy dog too so we can co-take care of prissy dog needs for all involved. I think Zip and Lucy would get along well.

Frankly, folks, they shouldn't even call those things you two own dogs. German shepherds, labs, retrievers, akitas, malamutes, great danes, etc. -- those are real dogs.

Correct. You do have soda fountains. And you are also correct about the free root beer floats at Sonic -- Thursday night from 8pm to midnight, I believe. On the other hand, they're on sale at Sonic right now for 99 cents each anyway (which is about half-price).

PJ without her cell phone? And you're still out and about and not tucked away in some hospital somewhere? :guilty: You can function without it?

It will be a real shame when she has to put you in whatever her discipline spot is called because you can't sit still during quiet time. :rotfl: I'm glad everything was to your liking, PJ, and you're so excited!

-- Rob

Ok that's just way too much to think about this early in the morning. Some people would find that offensive Liz. I don't know who, but someone would.,:rolleyes1

Hey, I do my best thinking at night! What can I say? :confused3

Michele! Where have you been, ma petite chou?

Hi, Rob! What's new?

Jean! Hello, my friend.

Hey, Liz! Been so busy! Monday was Julia's 6th birthday. 2 down, 1 to go...

How are you all?

Don't trust me though. I just have a really low tolerance for that kind of thing. Most people didn't think it was too bad. It was just too dark for me. I wouldn't let anyone under the age of 12 see it but like I said, I am not to be trusted.
Please! No more use of the color Lime! :headache: :headache: :headache:
What was that, BobInLittleKC? I can't believe you still don't know that if you tell me not to do something I'm just gonna do it more.

Hey, free is less than 99 cents. Even though gas is $8,000 a gallon we'll probably drive to Maineville just for free root beer floats that we probably could have just made it home. We're just THAT smart.

PJ without her cell phone? And you're still out and about and not tucked away in some hospital somewhere? :guilty: You can function without it?
It's not been good, BILKC, not good at all. :sad2: The new one is supposed to come by Friday. I am not so patiently awaiting it.

It will be a real shame when she has to put you in whatever her discipline spot is called because you can't sit still during quiet time. :rotfl: I'm glad everything was to your liking, PJ, and you're so excited!
Circle time, not quiet time, don't you know anything? Side story for nursebabe: we were writing all the kids names on clothespins and there was a little girl named Elisabeth (with an S). I thought that was just you. I've never seen it spelled that way. The teacher described her as "a little spitfire." :scratchin

semi-lurking....
Semi saying hi then.

Wow! You ARE smart. :thumbsup2 I'm glad you're going to be teaching our future leaders. Don't forget to allow for the expense of tator tots with cheese for yourself (I personally add the chili on too but of course that has meat in it) and something with bacon on it for your sis.

Hi Michele! Yay! birthday parties! :cheer2:
Hi BN! Night, night! You'd think babies would schedule their deliveries at reasonable hours! :headache: And new Moms should make their needs known only between 9 am to 5 pm (w/ a 2 hour silence at lunches) :rotfl2:
Hi Liz! Hmm..thinking at night? Last time I thought at night I was brutally jeered!
Hi PJ! Sit still, for Pete's sake!
And thank goodness we are self confident enough to own Little Prissy Dogs!

Incidentally, Zippy is quite the Lothario! ;)

Hi Lisa! Take it easy on the DIS reading orgy! We haven't said much!

oh, except for all that talk of the big NutsMeet @ Lisa's house!
Uh, some questions: do you have a pool? open bar, right?

Hi Rob! Stop flaunting your Sonic-ness at me!
There are no Sonics around for hundreds of miles & I am jonesing for a Cherry Limeade and now a (free) root beer float!
Hi Blue! What marvelous will power! But we do miss you! :grouphug: I will have to muster up some of that will power, too!
the house needs cleaning (oh, I think I feel a wave of...excitement?...anticipation?... No, that's nausea!) & I have a load of work projects upcoming, inc 2 events :scared1:
You are my new role model!
Hi Tiffer! You, too, mega will power :woohoo:

TTFN!

You're sending me the money for the added expense, right?

Yeah, the truth is that Rob's just not bold enough.

Class time! :teacher:

P.J.: I don't even read that lime green text. It hurts my eyes too much.

Awwww. Jean (and others in her boat): Even if there are no Sonics, surely there is some other place near you (unless you live in a really little hick town like E does). Some of the best drive-in (or at least no seating) restaurants in KC are independently owned non-chain places like Mugs-Up (though that may have used to have been a chain long ago), Clem's, Stacks, Harold's, and Humdinger's.

Wait wait wait wait wait. And wait. There is no seating??? It's literally a drive-in???? I thought it was just called that. I didn't know there were still drive ins in this day and age. Wow. I really have to go now. And I'm taking pictures. This is going down in the books. It really goes to show you that you (especially if you're me) learn something new every day.
