The llama discussion reminds me...I should dig up a picture I took of my ex at the Brookfield Zoo in Illinois. In the children's area, there was a miniature donkey named Eric. So I made my ex - Eric - sit on the bench right next to the sign and took a picture for posterity.

And speaking of my ex...I'm so suspicious...he came over last night to get some more stuff. When he asked me for a hug, I blurted out the first thing that came to my mind - "Why, did your girlfriend dump you?"

When we were there that time, my cousin's daughter was only 18 months old and she adored butterflies. We went mainly for the special butterfly exhibit that they had at the time. Is it the same one (this was back in July 2001)?

Aw, poor Eric. He was actually adorable.

started out in California--all up & down & around, then on for 4 years in Oahu on to Kingsville, TX, then up to various spots in RI & Mass. abrief trip to MD, then back to RI (are you taking notes???) then up to NH!

One thing about a small town--is it's small!
PJ, if you put on yr tutu & toeshoes for a little dance, you could easily draw a crowd of at least 200 appreciative people & we would serve "Light Refreshments", too!

Hi! This is GoofyDad's DW. He wanted me to post and let y'all know why he has been out of commission. Yesterday morning, I had to take him to the ER with extreme back pain. Turns out he had a kidney stone. We went to a urologist yesterday. His diagnosis - "That's not coming out on its own". So, this morning, we spent in surgery and they blasted the stone to smithereens. He is feeling better, just sore and a bit drugged. He should be back to play in a day or so.

I have been to Europe once. London. Should have bulleted over to Paris, but next time we will. Dh and I went when I was pregnant with ds-6. We're dying to take the kids back. It was a great trip, and I want to see Disneyland Paris, of course!
