Mixed Marriage 2: The Conversion Continues..... now complete

Twinkie Mama I have REALLLLLY enjoyed your "TR" :cheer2: You have such an awesome writing ability that makes it feel like I was on the trip with you and Twinkie Daddy :teeth: I had to laugh when you said you bought a red millineum tshirt because I have the same one :cool1: :cool1: Only I got mine in 2001 on clearance for 10 bucks at AK I didn't read the logo and thought WOW a Mickey tshirt for 10 bucks!!! then after I got home saw 2000 on it... I was also bummed I didn't get to tell you about a cool thing to do before you left to go on your anniversary trip. My hubby and I went to the Poly for dinner and then watched Wishes from a hammock on the beach.. It was like a private firework show and very romantic too... Can't wait to hear about your new Disney trip soon!!!

Just finished reading your report. AWESOME - loved it!! Sorry it ended but I hope this means we will be reading your third report soon.

Another WONDERFUL report! Thank you so much for sharing, and I can hardly wait for the next reports! I swear every time I read the name Crabopolis I start cracking up! :teeth:

Wow - what a page turner5! It has taken the better part of a week, but I am now all caught up!

Thanks for sharing your trips with us, Twinkiemama, even us latecomers! I love the way your family sucks every bit of enjoyment out of a Disney day.

There were so many things to enjoy about this TR - the biology lessons, the group participation between updates, and especially your most interesting perspective, especially on The Land Pavilion. Thanks again!

Reading your TR has been soooooo much fun, love the southern references!! Thanks for sharing and please post your next trippie soon!!! :yay:

Ok - now I was thinking about it and I think that this post could come across in totally the wrong way!

TM, your writing definitely encourages one to read on, all those cliffhangers and all.....I just kept getting called away by, you know, all those things that I wouldn't rather be doing but that sometimes must be done. The cooking, the laundry etc. etc.

Also, when I said that your family sucks every bit of enjoyment out of the day.....I didn't mean it like you were ruining it for everyone.....cause a person COULD interpret it that way....but what I really meant, and I think this is a case of really bad mixed metaphors on my part, is that you guys know how to pack a lot of fun into even a short stay at Disney, which I admire so much, I guess I got a little brain-tied. Where is the smiley for brain-tied????

And when I say "interesting perspective" I really do mean it in the nice way - your recollection of the nutrition related shows and The Land the way it used to be.....well, I wish I could see it myself!

Anyhow, I thought I should explain myself.... I SO enjoyed your Trippie and then I fear I posted a post that put my foot right into my mouth! Keep on writing, TM - you totally rock! :rockband:

TwinkieMama, for some reason I have missed you and your trip report. I have been a lurker for a while now, until I finally decided to joiin in and register, and post my own trip report. I have seen your name come up a lot on others and finally saw your own tr. Yeaah, I'm slow.
I read the last page and loved it, was sad to see it ending, so guess I have to start at the beginning. I'm looking forward to it, thanks :wave2:

Oh my gosh,

I thought I knew what I was doing on here and I can't find the whole trip report. I have been tantalized and am totally wanting to read the whole thing but can't get to all the pages - just the first page in each section. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong and how to correct it? Please? This is great stuff and I can't find it. :sad2:

I am so sad to see it end!! You did leave me misty eyed, your family just sounds so sweet! I can't wait for you to start telling us about your next trip!

I just started reading trip reports last week and ran across yours I loved every minute of it. Cant wait for more trips from you. TM and TD and little ones are awesome. :cool1:

Just read your trip reports they were awesome. This is my first post, usually just read about the trips but had to reply to your TR it was wonderful, like I was there. Cant wait for next TR. Thanks TM and TD. :woohoo:

But...but...that's it?

I need more!! I mean, I suppose I can satisfy myself with some happyhaunt and some Utah Momma, and some horsegirl, and some Hucifer and Dan goodness....I suppose it'll tide me over. But...well, the long and short of it is I need more fixes of the TM TR variety.

Please...please...PLEASE!!!! for all us addicts out there get started on your next TR.

:)

Wow
Wdwparks- your first post on my trippie- I am honored. Thanks. Welcome to the DIS. :cheer2:
cjhinch- Thank you for your kind words. :)
Redbudlover- I am so sorry I can't help with the technical difficulty. I hope someone can help you resolve it.... I too am a redbud lover! I used to have one outside my kitchen window when I lived in NC. I love how the look in the forest when they bloom. I call them redbuds otherwise people think you are crazy but I love the old fashioned common name: Judas Flowering. Very poetic.
nebo- Hey! Welcome aboard. I hope you enjoy it! But don't become distracted and fail to keep giving us more installments of your TR!
corinnak- you are just too cute for words. I understood your first post just fine (well I did wonder what the "interesting" perspective part meant... cause some people are vehemently opposed to my former line of work..... but it was no biggie)... but that is exactly something I would do- say (or post) something and then dwell on how it could have come across! so thanks for the explaination.... :grouphug: Besides didn't a famous Transcendental writer tell that we all should be sucking the marrow of life???? ;)
samc-If you like the Southern references go check out SORUL82?s threads... she explains being "ill" and "acting ugly" :rotfl2:
Fizban the man- yes more is coming, but I am on break now... actually caring for darling children and putting the fear of lab practicals in a new crop of budding young scientists- thanks for all your posts!
ead79-Crabopolis. Crabopolis. Crabopolis. :rotfl2: It cracks me up too! Love your signature picture!
Scot-n-Michelle- Thank you! It is so fun to write when people are so nice and encouraging!
DisneyBrat-About the shirt- I am said to say I got rid of it and now I wish I had it. In a post pregnancy fit, I got rid of a ton of clothes because I new they would Never Fit Again. Do not throw away clothes or cut your hair in the first 6 weeks post partum!!! Needless to say, I did lose the baby weight and had to go buy new clothes. Most of what I got rid of needed to go anyway (can we say dated?) but I wish I had my fab 2000 Disney shirt! Which I paid full price for!
Disneygirl36, MyTalula, Minniespal- Thank you so much! About the cliffhangers- ha! you are on to me! There will be more- I don't know when. It depends on how much Real Life interupts..
Mikayla- Running amuck is fun! Thanks for running with me.

Oh thank goodness! And you're right about that famous Transcendental writer....though sucking the marrow out of something doesn't sound all that pleasant to modern sensibilities, does it?

So how many of these trip reports do you have in reserve, just waiting to be written? Well, I suppose that would be telling. ;) I'm sure looking forward to the next one, though!

I am suffering from Post-Trippie Withdrawl.... Must find another epic report to read.

One of the all time classic reports! Thanks for sharing.

Patiently waiting for the Back to School Trip Report on the Two Pirates and the Two Princesses :teeth:
Kinda like the update from the neighbors, TwinkieMama has become a part of all of our lives..

Don't know how I missed this last time... didn't mean to leave you out pilferk!
I am taking a little break from writing and just heckling other writers. But there is more... Mixed Marriage 3: The Return of The Twinkies will be out someday (really can't say when, cause I haven't written it yet)....

:wave2: hi kwnancy
Goofy(since71) thanks for asking about the kidcakes....every mom loves to talk about her babies- DS12 is playing football  and the twins love preschool- I did :sad1: on the first day but don't tell anyone....

Twinkie Mama - no wonder your name has Twinkie in it - what a sweet family and sweet report! It seems as though the conversion was a complete success! Can't wait to hear about your next adventure!
