Mission Accomplished~Now A Trip Report~Day 10~A BRIEF CONCLUSION~

I know that "lost child" feeling. I've experienced it, too. (Post #47 in my TR below goes into gret detail about losing your children in 50's Prime Time Cafe'.) That's the worst feeling in the world. So glad it turned out. I would have been going crazy, standing outside the doors waiting for the show to be over.

LOVED the pictures of the PowerRangers. How resourceful of you! See - you're not such a bad mom afterall!!:goodvibes
Barb

P.S. OK - I feel like such a loser - what on earth is the "Peeps" board? :confused3 I want in!! Can you get me a pass? Please! Thanks!

Monica! Lost child?!?! :scared1:

That is my greatest fear a Disney World. Guess that shaved a couple years off, huh? Glad you found him quickly and he was OK. I was so afraid it was gonna be Mal.

I'm not sure I would've gone over the Honey I Lost the Kids after that! But you're right about the Lights Motor Action show....no mystery left after the first time. :sad2:

What an awesome CM David is! Glad you filled out a card so he can get his props.

Sounds like a fun day at MGM....just hitting the things you wanted to do. Perfect!

Hope you're feeling better.

Oh, Monica! A lost child is THEE worst feeling. That empty heavy heart feeling! I got tears in my eyes for you guys! I'm so glad it had a happy ending.:goodvibes
Love the pic of the boys with baby sister, Mal. How sweet!:cloud9:
Great installment, as always!:)

In the WISH forums Utahmama started this wonderful support thread for those wanting to stay healty/lose weight. There's a link in her siggy. There's a slim chance you can start at the beginning to catch up. I say just jump right in and chat away.

Bios of other "peeps" start on page 94. Come on over and play.
We have a recipe journal going on.

Do you really think that those are taken seriously? The way the girl explained it, the applause forms went to his boss. Which I think we met and spoke to that day anyway.

I am feeling better. Thanks!

I just stumbled onto your trip report and I have to say it's awesome! You are such a good writer - and what a wonderful trip. I hope ours is as much fun as yours.

Hey Monica, I'm caught up! What a roller coast of a read that was: first I'm up with the Girls' Day Out and all the fun you had, then I'm down with the Missing Zachary Scene, then I'm back up when you all reunite... phew! I'm exhausted! ;)

I just love that pic with Cinderlla hugging Malorie. And I can't believe they made you wait outside Little Mermaid and made Zachary wait alone inside. I understand that they have rules and all, but come on. So glad it turned out well in the end!

Thank you so much. What are your trips plans? Is this your first? I just love to hear about others plans. I'm sure that whatever is on your itinerary will just be perfect for you.

I have finally caught up on your TR!

What a horrible feeling to have lost your son! :scared: I'm glad he was in the same vicinity and taken care of. I am surprised they made you wait outside...however, they knew where he was so they probably thought nothing of it.

Mal is adorable with the Princesses! princess: I think I want to go to WDW and be the Fairy Godmother!!! I think I could pull it off and have fun with the kids too! Watya think?!

Can't wait for more!!! :cool1:

Not if I beat you to it! That fairy godmother part looks easy, um welll at least I don't have to look 20ish. Know what I mean?

Monica! What a nightmare the lost child feeling is! I have one who likes to hide when at Walmart in the clothes racks.....He thinks it's funny till he sees me crying hysterically!

I love CM's that add to your magic! That is the best!
I love your creative Power Rangers pictures!!!! Genious!
That Honey I shrunk the kids playarea is HOT!!!! We swear it was 120 degrees in there! Was it hotter in there when you went?

Keep it up Peep! You are the BEST mama ever!

 Big Thanks! I needed that!

I used to be the child that took off on my mom. She had an entire mall in lockdown mode to find me hanging out at the fountains throwing pennies in with some teenage girls. I was quick! I guess it's payback time. My sister used to take off too, so I wonder about my mom sometimes? We survived so much back then........

I didn’t know that going back to college, working full time, and carrying my fourth child was going to be so crazy. Sorry about the delay and if you are still with me, you all rock!

We had a 4:20pm ressie at Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner. That was the only time I could get. We got there about 4:00 and they asked if we minded waiting for our ressie time so we just sat and relaxed in the sitting area.

What a nice place. We were greeted by the Characters from above
Disney2006263.jpg

and finally our name was bellowed and we were seated. That placed packed up real quick. I think they were just getting ready for the dinner crowd when we got there. Talked to the Chef and he brought out Matt his own plate of food. The kids were way picky here. The food was good, but the kids attitudes were stinky.

The characters came around and did their thing.

Not too much to really report, it’s one of those places you check off on your list and move on. But the apple cobbler was out of this world! I was too stuffed from eating and still managed to force it down. It was that good.

The first thing we did with our few hours was Hall of Presidents. We passed it up the last two trips and mommy really wanted to do this one. We walked out and early wishes was dancing above our heads. We actually stopped and watched. Very cool. We have a lot to learn with our camera and night shots. The squiggly lines are very interesting but not worthy to share with you all.

We got our bracelets for MVMCP and got our picture taken with the photo pass people then headed over to Pirates.
DisneyPhotoImage16.jpg

Zach and Matt were treated to a pirate Christmas tale in the gift shop
Disney2006279.jpg

and more pins were purchased. Zach got to partake in his first Pin trade. I could tell he was very nervous and excited at the same time.

The boys wanted to do Big Thunder Mt. and Splash with their dad. Malorie was taking a late nap and Mom and I hung around and fought off some mosquitoes. I thought of a Dole Whip and when I got there it was closed. Snap! Another vacation and no Dole Whip. So there will be another vacation in our future. It’s that simple. And I don’t care if it’s 9 in the morning I will be enjoying a Dole Whip.

We got to see the Holly Day Parade and Mal wouldn’t take her eyes off of Santa as he rode by. The boys went back to Big Thunder Mt. and then I said enough! Let’s enjoy the party! We headed over to Fantasy Land and I grabbed some hot cocoa and cookies. Outside of Country Bear Jamboree we got to see Holiday Wishes. I know our viewing spots were not great this trip but we weren’t the kind of folk to actually stop and watch. We are more of the variety of riders. But I needed a change of pace and we watched. I’m sure with the right vantage point this is an awesome display. So I have it in my mind to make sure I plan better for Wishes in the future.

We saw Philharmagic again and Mal got to ride Dumbo. There was a dance party going on with Pinocchio and Ghephetto outside Cinderella's Golden Carrousel and Mal made sure she got to dance with them.

Disney2006300.jpg

The kids rode the carrousel and it was 11:30 and we were beat.
Disney2006301.jpg

I know we missed out on party things. This was our first experience with doing MVMCP. We have to learn to stop and enjoy things rather than go go go! But practice makes perfect right?

I will have to live the experience reading through Princess Lynda’s TR, http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1264308 because I know they are so experienced with these kind of events. Plus I think they were there when we were.......?

Well there’s one day left and we are having breakfast early in the morning and there’s an expedition in our plans. So, we call it a night and make the long hike back to our car.

Up next: Braving a Yeti and a disgruntled duck.

I'm so first!

I really love the Hall of Presidents. I like the details!

I've never been to the LTT, but my kids always have bad attitudes when I spen TONS of money on a meal. Which ends up being a disaster.

Mal is precious!!!!!! I HAVE to meet her (and her mama) someday!!!!!!

YAY!!! :cheer2: More of your trippie!!!

I've never eaten at LTT either, but may someday. Who knows! :confused3

Sounds like fun! Can't wait until tomorrow's adventures!!! :yay:

Great trip report, really enjoying the read. My son and I went in Sept.06 he is 7 years old and we lost each other for a few minutes in Animal Kingdom. A feeling of total panic came over me.
I had my cell phone with me and all week I had the number pinned to his clothes (a green lime mickey) but not that day! :confused3 I had told him to find a CM and they could call me on it.

The first thing he said when he found me (or I found him) was I didn't have that number on me! Never again.

We are thinking of a trip again in September of 2007 and Pop Century is one of our choices, enjoyed reading about it thru your trippie!

Thanks,
Donna:thumbsup2

We never saw one disser, not one!:sad2:

Monica! I'm so glad you posted another installment! I know you're busy....so thanks! Sorry about stinky kid attitudes at LTT!? That's why DS is going to a kid's club a couple times next trip. ;) Sounds like a fun party. I would so love to be there are Christmas time!!

Take care of yourself.

P.S......I know what tomorrow is! Visit us over at the peeps! OK?! :)

Thanks Lexy for the wishes and reminding me to change my title. Oops!

Isn't being forgetful a pregnancy thing?

KimAshton and dmthoma76 thanks for reading and stopping in. I appreciate it so much. Losing a child in a crowd is my biggest fear. I knew my son was inside the building. I can't imagine being more afraid than I was and I won't even try to. Glad you found him.

UM: Tim's pretty close to you today. He flew in to Houston this morning.
