I didnt know that going back to college, working full time, and carrying my fourth child was going to be so crazy. Sorry about the delay and if you are still with me, you all rock!
We had a 4:20pm ressie at Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner. That was the only time I could get. We got there about 4:00 and they asked if we minded waiting for our ressie time so we just sat and relaxed in the sitting area.
What a nice place. We were greeted by the Characters from above
and finally our name was bellowed and we were seated. That placed packed up real quick. I think they were just getting ready for the dinner crowd when we got there. Talked to the Chef and he brought out Matt his own plate of food. The kids were way picky here. The food was good, but the kids attitudes were stinky.
The characters came around and did their thing.
Not too much to really report, its one of those places you check off on your list and move on. But the apple cobbler was out of this world! I was too stuffed from eating and still managed to force it down. It was that good.
The first thing we did with our few hours was Hall of Presidents. We passed it up the last two trips and mommy really wanted to do this one. We walked out and early wishes was dancing above our heads. We actually stopped and watched. Very cool. We have a lot to learn with our camera and night shots. The squiggly lines are very interesting but not worthy to share with you all.
We got our bracelets for
MVMCP and got our picture taken with the photo pass people then headed over to Pirates.
Zach and Matt were treated to a pirate Christmas tale in the gift shop
and more pins were purchased. Zach got to partake in his first Pin trade. I could tell he was very nervous and excited at the same time.
The boys wanted to do Big Thunder Mt. and Splash with their dad. Malorie was taking a late nap and Mom and I hung around and fought off some mosquitoes. I thought of a Dole Whip and when I got there it was closed. Snap! Another vacation and no Dole Whip. So there will be another vacation in our future. Its that simple. And I dont care if its 9 in the morning I will be enjoying a Dole Whip.
We got to see the Holly Day Parade and Mal wouldnt take her eyes off of Santa as he rode by. The boys went back to Big Thunder Mt. and then I said enough! Lets enjoy the party! We headed over to Fantasy Land and I grabbed some hot cocoa and cookies. Outside of Country Bear Jamboree we got to see Holiday Wishes. I know our viewing spots were not great this trip but we werent the kind of folk to actually stop and watch. We are more of the variety of riders. But I needed a change of pace and we watched. Im sure with the right vantage point this is an awesome display. So I have it in my mind to make sure I plan better for Wishes in the future.
We saw Philharmagic again and Mal got to ride Dumbo. There was a dance party going on with Pinocchio and Ghephetto outside Cinderella's Golden Carrousel and Mal made sure she got to dance with them.
The kids rode the carrousel and it was 11:30 and we were beat.
I know we missed out on party things. This was our first experience with doing MVMCP. We have to learn to stop and enjoy things rather than go go go! But practice makes perfect right?
I will have to live the experience reading through Princess Lyndas TR,
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1264308 because I know they are so experienced with these kind of events. Plus I think they were there when we were.......?
Well theres one day left and we are having breakfast early in the morning and theres an expedition in our plans. So, we call it a night and make the long hike back to our car.
