Military Discount Tickets?

Just keep your eyes open as this morning mine said pending however they were just delivered

I super duper hope mine arrive today. The park availability for my days is all yellow but 1 day. :scared:

Did your detailed tracking still show your package in Orlando? Mine hasn't moved. Goodness, I hope they just kept it coming up here and not scanning.
 

No tickets. Tracking has had no updates ... still sitting in Orlando for day 6.

Park days are filling up. One day only has Epcot left. I am so stressed. This is awful.

So sorry, I don’t blame you for stressing!

When I was having issues with a FedEx delivery, I sent a direct Twitter message to @FedExHelp. I don’t think it made any difference to the delivery, but they did respond and let me know what was happening with the package.

I hope you get it soon!

I called yesterday. I felt bad for the customer service guy. He was nice, but could provide nothing more than what I had. Got nowhere. Said the system is still FUBAR from the storms over 10 days ago. I have never had FedEx be this bad.

The problem now is with no updates, I have not a clue as too when they will arrive. Who knows if I will even be home to sign.

If it looks like you might not be home to sign, you can log into fed ex and change the delivery to a local drop off location. Mine is 5 minutes away at our town’s Walgreens and its super convenient.

I’ve done that before, but honestly I’m afraid to touch anything on it and create more issues that could delay it more. I have no faith in FedEx at the moment.

If I could have a clue of when they are supposed to get here it would be helpful.:mad: I’m beyond frustrated. Have a case opened with FedEx, but I doubt it will do anything. Just go on Twitter and you’ll see people have been waiting for 2 weeks. It’s insane.

In the meantime I just keep watching more days losing park availability. :sad2: Just what I want, paying for tickets, hotel, and airfare to go to WDW and not get in a park.
 
So it sounds like going through SOG is a better option than through a local base. Is there any reason not to go through them or why you couldn’t?

As an MWR employee. please use your local base if you enjoy the events they put on! Money spent through a base MWR ticket office goes directly back into your military community and helps fund base events! We always just activate out tickets on arrival day- rarely go to a park that day, but we will activate them at Disney springs or even the TTC before catching dining reservation at the Poly.

My sister has had the same issues. Hers is just sitting in Orlando with no updates.

DS tried calling Sunday, sat on hold for an hour and gave up. DH called again Sunday evening, said he would sit on hold and give it to DS if they picked up. They did and as it turned out they said they emailed DS Friday. He doesn't have an email and we thought we were waiting on a call anyway, not an email, but they said they would call back and take care of it. Within minutes they called back. :teeth:

During all this time we were waiting we decided to change from 4 to 5 day hopper so something good came out of the wait. We got the tracking number Sunday night, and tickets were received before noon today. they are linked to our accounts and park reservations are booked. PHEW!

I don't know if this is the norm now during this time or what, but we didn't have to sign. I had DH stalking the window while he worked from home today, so when he saw Fed Ex he ran to the door. The guy looked surprised to see him (he wasnt even wearing a mask), and he just handed the tickets to DH. Good luck!

FedEx finally opened a claim yesterday after I pushed for it. And they claim it’s not damaged because it isn’t flagged. Still shows Orlando. No update on tracking since 2/26 at 1am. I think filing a claim does zip because they said they’d be in contact soon with an update. Good thing I’m not holding my breath.

It is insane at this point. A week of a package not moving.

I called SOG yesterday. They were very nice and looked up the ticket numbers for me. The days of my visit are going fast and I couldn't take it anymore. (HS has been long gone, and MK is out over half of my trip.) My only worry is if FedEx will never deliver the cards. My ticket numbers are assigned on my MDE, but if they need physical cards over my old Magic Bands I am screwed.

FYI, my package is still saying Orlando. Over a week NO MOVEMENT! What the heck? Still no contact after case filed. I could have jogged to Orlando by now. :sad2:

Yes! Just like you, we always had the physical cards as a “just in case” scenario. Murphy’s Law if I don’t have it, it’ll be the one time I need it.

I have always bought Salute tickets through my base ITT. So if I buy them from SOG, they come activated and all we need to do is go to the entrance, tap our tickets to the sensor, and walk in? That is a big advantage.

In our experience, it's usually a couple of dollars more, but not much. We mostly buy from SOG but lately have also been buying tickets for WDW and Universal at our local Coast Guard Exchange or at DH's employment where the Air Force has an MWR office out of convenience or, as in the case of February, a last-minute trip.
