Thank you! I have actually glued rhinestones to sneakers before (remember when it was cool to put them on Pumas?) but used a different glue this time because the bead store I bought the rhinestones from recommended it and it was right there to buy.

I used "E6000" industrial strength glue. It was fantastic. It was $4 for the tube and it did the job - it's clear (goes on clear, dries clear), waterproof, non-flammable, flexible and paintable. It dries pretty fast too and the rhinestones don't slip off the thong part of the sandel when you're waiting for it to dry.

I used 20mm Swarovski rhinestones (they're the best quality and give the best sparkle) and needed about 240 of them total for my size 6 flip flops.

I am SOOOO excited! I found my bridesmaids dresses! I just checked JCrew's website yesterday (I don't even know what prompted me to do that) because I really like their special occasions dresses, I just think they're overpriced at full price, and I checked the sale section and there were TONS of dresses from this past season on sale!! I guess they want to get rid of the stock because the fall season's dresses are out already.

I LOVE the dress. It was a STEAL at $99, silk, and I just adore the rope around the waist. It's very nautical! I think the yellow will look fantastic against the beach backdrop with the aqua water and tan sand.

I called my three bridesmaids immediately when I found it, they all loved it (which is incredible because my best friend generally doesn't like what the other two and myself do), I ran to JCrew at the mall to get my measurements taken/try on a dress to see how the sizes ran (because it's final sale and the dress is only available on the internet I wanted to make sure that the sizes were accurate) and ordered them last night! So it happened pretty quickly but I feel like it was the way I felt about my dress - when you find it you just know! Besides which, I was worried if I didn't order them right away they'd be sold out soon enough because they're sold out of the dress in almost every color except orange. So they'll arrive at my house in 7 days! I cannot wait!

As for shoes, I hope they can go barefoot on the beach but in case the sand's too hot I'll get them back up sandels.

In other wedding news, my invitations are almost ready to go (I just have to print the envelopes, stuff and stamp), and I got my contract from Cathy yesterday.

They run true to size. I'm a 4 normally and with the measurements of the dresses and the measurements the manager at JCrew took when I was there I'd be a 4. Same for the three bridesmaids - true to size.

I love it so much I considered buying one for myself but I can just borrow my sister's if I ever want to wear it after the wedding for a special occasion since we're the same size.

Haha I wish. I have a tummy, I promise, that could afford to go down a bit and I need to seriously work out my arms. I think if I was really in shape and better about working out I'd probably be a 2 b/c I have a small frame. I fluctuate between 4 and 6. But thank you for the compliments!
