Well here it goes :) I'd been to Disney before, I am a total Disney fanatic. It is everywhere in my house! My fiance however... had never been to Disney. He has gone on the Disney cruise w/me before, but not WDW...

maybe I should tell you a little bit about us first :)
I just turned 29 on our trip... for real :) love disney...went through a horrible marriage/divorce w/my ex. He became an abusive psycho that never had anything to do w/our son. he didn't even take us home from the hospital!!! Then I met this wonderful man... he literally walked up my driveway! I work over 75 miles from my house, so I'm gone 12 hrs a day and didn't think about meeting someone else for quite awhile... you know how that goes! I have a 4 car garage behind my house and my sister wanted to borrow it to have a garage sale... ok no biggie. Nice area, quite a bit of traffic... I would have normally just taken my son to the zoo or something, but for some reason...I didn't. Mike who never goes to garage sales... had his buddy buggin him to go look at this hot tub... and that's how we met...

My 5 year old son... the most adorable child in the world. I miscarried a few times before I became pregnant w/him so we're incredible close. He is very well mannered, well behaved and very smart! Absolutely loves the Power Rangers. He's been to Disney 3 x's already, and on the Disney cruise 3 x's... poor kid ;)

So, we're leaving April 25 right after my sons kindergarten screening. The teacher comes out and asks us "did you know it is ZERO days until Disney and you'll be there at night time?" Yep...as my son says...its blast off to Disney! After our 14 1/2 drive from Ohio...we arrive @ Pop Century. My son just sits in the back seat and plays...watches a few movies...

Its midnight...I go check in, get all our cards and info and head to the room. Dont make the same mistake we did...POP does have elevators! Duh!!

Wed. April 26 we're off to Epcot! Stay tuned for our 10 day trip... our dining experiences on the DDP... the quick wedding on the beach, and I took over 600 pictures so there are some great ones to include!

Can't wait to read more and see the pictures!! What a way to have a wedding...a Disney fairytale for sure!!

Congratulations !!
Can't wait to see those 600 pictures!!

April 26, we're off to Epcot! Ok, I am a total over planner, over packer...everything to the extreme.Joined TGM and all. Mike said I packed everything but the kitchen sink, but I'm not THAT bad. We had ADR's today for lunch @ Le Cellier at noon and dinner @ Rose N Crown for a great view of Illuminations! We get to the park at opening...race to Test Track... it was broken down :(...so we race straight across over to Soarin', get a fastpass for later, and ride now. We all 3 rode. Kenny is only 42" so there were many things he couldn't ride. Kenny and I love Soarin' and Mike said he'd pass next time since he don't do well with heights :)Living with the land, Circle of Life. Then we went to the Living Seas area for awhile, back to Test Track. It was finally going, Kenny was a little scared the first time but an hour later he was asking to go again. We headed to Le Cellier. This ended up being our favorite meal of our entire trip. Great service, excellent steak. I absolutely love filet mignon...and this was great! The shrimp appetizer was a little spicy for my taste...but I admit I am a wimp in that department. The desserts were delicious!! We headed back to the room for a nap. Back to Epcot refreshed and ready for more fun! We headed back and used our fastpasses for test track and Sparin' !!! Love those two! I've been to Epcot a few times but had never headed back to World Showcase...so we headed back there. The crowds were not bad at all. Even standby was never more than 30 min... We headed through Mexico, then Norway and wrode the boat ride Maelstrom, through China, Germany,Italy,Japan, Morocco and France... stopping at the shops. I wanted to buy candy from the different countries. We ended in the UK for our dinner at Rose n Crown. This was a great place to view Illuminations but you've really got to have ADR's for 7pm to get a good table. If you at least get a table at all they do have their own reserved area roped off just for restaurant guests that people can go stand and watch.

April 27th... Its our wedding day. Today we're going to just take it easy and not go to any parks. We had breakfast... I had packed goodies... then I headed off to Grand Floridian to get my hair and makeup done. That was $110 but she did a beautiful job. It was windy out so I was a little worried since we weren't getting married until sunset... no worries there...she pinned it up really good with tons of spray and pixy dust. I can't wait to get our wedding pictures back. It was beautiful! I went back to the room to get ds5 adn dh2b for lunch at Contemporary @ Concourse Steakhouse. I was wearing my personalized t-shirt thanks to a dis member here that was so nice to design it for me. The waitress noticed my shirt and they made a big deal that it was our wedding day...at least 6 of the staff members came to congradulate us. They brought us champagne, my son a cupcake, a light up cube, a certificate... it was really sweet. they couldnt' believe how calm we were... we've been together for 2 years and there wasn't anything to be stressed about. I had sent out ahead of time for our marriage license, so that was taken care of... I hired a couple that the wife was the professional photographer and the husband was the preacher...she ordered my flowers and everything...so all we had to do was show up and get dressed. It was perfect. We met them... stood on the beach by the the water and had our short and sweet ceremony at sunset... it was great...then we took tons of pictures...and headed back for a good nights rest because in the morning we were heading to a very busy day at the Magic Kingdom! I promise I'll see how to attach pictures and get them on here tomorrow :woohoo:

Wow I'm hooked already can't wait to hear more!!!! Congratulations!! And I must admit, that you can meet the person of your dreams, when you aren't even looking!!! It happened to me!! :wizard:

Ok so April 28th, we're headed to Magic Kingdom for a full day of fun. We're there before the gates open ready to head to Dumbo. We hit the "main attractons" first to beat the lines... which honestly there weren't huge lines for anything our entire trip. The longest I saw was 70 min. for Soarin... anyway...they let us in and we rush back to Dumbo. We're on the first ride of the day. Then we head to do all we want at Fantasyland. Its a small world, Peter Pan, PhilharMagic,Snow White's Scary Adventure,Winnie the Pooh and Mad Tea party... boy was that fun! We headed over to Mickeys Toontown Fair... We rode the railroad around the whole park for fun and Goofy's Barnstormer and that was about it... we headed to Tomorrowland to the Speedway :) That was fun since Kenny could TRY to drive! I rode Space Mountain solo.. we grabbed a turkey leg under Astro orbiter for lunch... we thought we may try to skip a nap today... so we went ahead and did Buzz Lightyear, Stitch's great escape and Tomorrowland Transit Authority...

honeymoon074.jpg

We watched the parade... I'll go have some lunch and be back w/more pics and details! :)

I got some lunch, got my new drivers licenst w/my new name :). It is so hard getting use to writing a new name... you men are lucky ;) you don't have to go through all of that...new license, new soc. security card... Oh well, it is worth it.... so we watched the Share a dream come true parade:

We headed to the room to freshen up before our dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse. I know everyone raves about this restaurant, but for us it was just OK... the food was good, but not fantastic. I guess that is what happens when you have high expectations from the beginning. Our waitress was nice and did her job... I didn't expect anything thankfully...being our honeymoon and all because she didn't even say "congrats". I had asked her where you get the pins that say "its our honeymoon..." or something...she shrugged her shoulders and said " I don't know but I can ask"... then later she said something like " I think you can get them in the hotel up front" or something...and that was about it. I doubt we'll go back next time...too many other choices to choose from. Plus my husband is getting ready to retire in July from the military. Shades of Green was booked so if we stay there next time we won't be able to do the dining plan... it was nice to try different places we probably would not have if we weren't on the plan. After dinner we headed to DTD for awhile to check it out. Being Friday night..it was SOOO packed. It was really hard to find a parking space. We circled and circled and circled. We finally got a spot... started shopping at World of Disney and it was just so crowded you could barely move. It was crazy... we walked down a few more stores and that was enough...we're here 11 days, we'll come back on Monday morning or something when it's dead :) So we left for some much needed rest.

Sat. April 29th... my 29th birthday :)!! We were woken up out of a dead sleep and my son was SICK... I mean all over the bed!!! He NEVER does that! So, I got him cleaned up and dh called the front desk. It was about 1am and they IMMEDIATELY brought all new bedding! That was awesome. He could not keep anything down all day long... well, this was the day of the draft..so dh watched that all day... we had planned on going to MGM...had adr's for Sci Fi for lunch and Hollywood and Vine for dinner w/Fantasmic tickets. I called to cancel them and the lady really didn't want to cancel them... she's like " you want to cancel ...these have reserved seats for Fantasmic and everything" "yeah, I know...but my 5 year old can't go 30 minutes w/out getting sick and I'm not going to take him out in public like this!"... remember me packing everything but the kitchen sink...well that sure came in handy... we had the pepto, the lysol... the wipes, tums...anything we needed. Thank goodness. Well dh said... no use both of us sitting here..I know this is your favorite place on earth... why don't you go to DTD and get the 2 christmas houses you don't have for your birthday? I really didn't want to leave my son... but he hadn't been sick for a few hours by then and I still didn't want to take him out...so I ran down to DTD for 2 hours and went SHOPPING :) I got the 2 new houses at the christmas store... the cinema and the emporium...and I got 2 new snowglobes, the lithograph you can only get at World of Disney, a new polo shirt for each of us, some scrapbooking stuff :) and the figurine "puppy love"...
coming up: Animal Kingdom... Donalds Breakfastosaurus, Ohana w/perfece view of fireworks.. and SOOO much more. wow, I took a lot of pictures. I can't wait to get our wedding pictures back!! :cloud9:

Oh wow! How exciting! Well, not that your son was sick, but your trip sounds wonderful.
I have to admit, I started to cry a bit. My youngest just turned 9 and I saw your son standing in a spot my son did when he was 5.

Your little guy is soooo cute!

I'm glad you had a wonderful time, can't wait to see more pics!!

BTW, hello from a fellow Ohioan!

Hey there:) Well, that is so sweet! I know others posts have made me tear up...I work with all men...so I'll sneak off to the restroom to compose myself! Glad it brought back memories. Time flies and they grow so fast... it is unreal. Seems like a few months ago I was taking him on his first cruise..and he was only 18 months old then! I am still on this "disney high"... I tried to talk him into moving close to the mouse but he says no way. I live in Mansfield, and work in Columbus... over 75 mile commute one way...so I'm gone 12 hours a day... I've been doing that for the past 7 years and its getting OLD. We're hoping once he retires...in July I can quit and start in nursing school. First RN, then nurse practitioner...I'm so excited. Things just keep getting better and better. Glad I have you on the DIS to share the excitement with!!

Yes, that is a long commute. Do you go 71? If you do, when you go by Delaware, yell, Hi! I'll be listening for ya! :wave2:

Enjoyed reading your report ~ Thanx for sharing.

Congratulations! It sounds like a beautiful beginning to your marriage.
Cant wait to read more!
Thanks

April 30, we're off early to Animal Kingdom.
honeymoontrip245.jpg

We have adr's for Donalds Breakfastosaurus @ 8am. They let us in the parking lot about 7:45-7:50. We rush in the park to breakfast. Everything is roped off so you can't go anywhere else in the park. They do check your adr # before they let you in the gate. We made it to the restaurant, they call our name and we get seated. What a fun breakfast. I would recommend this to anyone w/kids. Our waiter was a lot of fun, several pranks... kept us laughing. The characters came around... Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Pluto. We got our pictures and autographs. They didn't rush or anything. It was a lot of fun. It really was. To see my ds5's face ... he wanted to hug them.

the food was ok... I'm not much for buffets but I'll eat at a buffet for better entertainment and characters. You have to enjoy these moments while they're still little and get so excited!

Well, the restaurant was in a great location. Right by the kiddie rides :) dh took ds to the kiddie rides while I ran to ride Expedition Everest.
honeymoon115.jpg

Oh... I love that one! I was on the first ride of the day... got a fast pass for later of coarse! Rockin Roller coaster was my favorite since it's inside and dark... but this was 2nd for sure. I live 50 miles from Cedar Point so I definately don't go to WDW thinking of coasters... but those two coasters are so much fun!! It was better than I expected by far. I ran back to catch up with them. DS5 loves dinosaurs. I gave him $ to get his face painted since that is all he'd talked about since he saw the first child that had it done...
honeymoon130.jpg

it was $15...but made his day! ;)
We hit the whole dinosaur area... he thought dinosaur was too loud... but did good. We put our ponchos on for the rapids... that was a lot of fun. It was actually a little cool that day and I really didn't want to walk around wet. A lot of people had the ponchos on. We headed for the safari. Oh...I love the safari!

We had to watch the festival of the Lion King...
honeymoontrip241.jpg

Love that! I took my son to the broadway show when he was 2 before I had even taken him to the movie theater... he didn't move! I would pay admission just to watch this! Then we headed to Pocahontas..
honeymoontrip236.jpg

we grabbed late lunch at Tusker house... not too bad...

We watched the parade...
honeymoontrip259.jpg

and headed back to the room for a late nap since we had a late dinner reservation @ Ohana at the Polynesian.

Wishes was at 10pm, our adr's for Ohana were for at 9pm. They noticed the note that it was our honeymoon. Asked to see our rings... told us "congrats" and that was really nice. I love this resort. It was beautiful. They gave us a table right at the windows with a PERFECT view of the castle. It was dark.. watching the lights on the castle change color. It was so nice. The food was good. The dessert was really good! I loved the interaction for the kids... coconut races, limbo, hula lessons for the little ones... a lot of fun. ds5 jumped in the action. That was nice because he's usually a little shy around strangers and don't jump in...
honeymoontrip275.jpg

We watched the EWP go by :)

everyone all day complimented him on his face painting...

The music started and it was time for the fireworks... oh... I highly recommend this! It was a much better view of the fireworks than being at the MK!!! I wish I could have taken pictures of it... it was beautiful!

DH said if SOG is booked and we can get a good deal...next time we're going to stay at Poly!!!!! I'm still excited about that! As we walked out to our car.. DH confessed. I made all the adr's... all the details of the itinerary...and he tells me that earlier he was thinking... "oh, this is the one crazy thing she did... dinner at 9pm"... but he had to tell me and say he was wrong and it was a beautiful night. The food, the entertainment and the fireworks was a perfect way to end the evening!

Next to come... MGM, dinner @ Narcooses, more MK, the waterparks... our mistakes w/the ddp... Liberty Tree meal,Chef Mickeys...and so much more.

thanks to everyone for the "congrats" and I hope you are enjoying the pix.

Yes, I drive 71s, 270e..and I work about 1 mile from JC Penney outlet... such a LONG drive everyday... hope to start nursing school soon!!

Have to share a few more pix...
