Well, I've been to the dermatologist. I am not a good candidate for microderm since my scars have sharp edges. I'm on some medicine and using a cream (both of which are new since I used to go to the derm back in hs) and I like them so far. For the scars, he wants to punch out the scar tissue and sew them back up, so the scar will be a small, straight, flat line. It will be easy to cover up. I will have stitches, so I'm going to wait to do this until my Christmas break. The doc doesn't understand why I don't want to go anywhere with stitches all over my face. It's kind of scary and I wish I could have it done sooner so that I don't have time to think about it. I'll have less than 10 places done, and he said he'd done someone with 30-40 a few days before, so it couldn't be as bad as that...or that's what I keep telling myself.
