Mickey's Not So Scary Hallowen DIS Party!

I woke-up and I couldn't believe it was finally here! It was the day of the DIS Meet! I had all my DIS stuff out and ready to go. I was thrilled to finally wear our DIS Meet shirt and I grabbed my Disney bag full of all the necessities for the night!

Our Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Meet was at 2:00 pm, so I left at 12:45 pm to make it on time. I was so excited to have the royal treatment at the Boutique and I was thrilled to finally meet my DIS friends!

I was so happy to drive into the Magic Kingdom and I was quickly directed to the Happy parking lot. How appropriate! I jumped out and took off for the tram that was quickly filling up. I was on my way!

It seems like it always takes forever to get to the Magic Kingdome! The anticipation was driving me nuts! I got to the Ticket & Transportation Center and hopped on the Monorail. Then, I saw the rain starting to really come down! I had been keeping my fingers crossed that this wouldn't happen! I was trying to keep positive!

The Monorail got held up for a bit and it seemed like forever! Then, finally it was time to exit and I booked it down the ramp to the MK! I was there!

They really out-did themselves this year with the Halloween decorations! They were amazing and so festive! It was a 100% improvement from last year! The details were great and I loved all of the Main Street themed scarecrows. They were so cute!

Main Street looked absolutely fabulous! I felt like I was at a Fall Carnival! It was great and I knew I just had to make that walk up to Cinderella Castle! I knew my DIS girls were there and I couldn't wait to meet them!

I made it to the end of Main Street and then I made my way up the walkway to Cinderella Castle. I was pumped with anticipation! I walked past the blue curtains hanging down around the Castle doorway and then I spotted the lime green!

I know what you mean about anticipation! You guys may be reliving the experience but the rest of us are living it for the first time!! The decorations on Main Street look amazing, by the way. My goodness...

I'm looking forward to your report! I am at a conference in Orlando and was able to get a ticket for tonight's MNSSHP - unfortunately all my friends were NOT able to get tickets when they tried the next morning. Any tips on where to view the parade and fireworks?

I was stuck going to the Dentist all day today to get my root canal filling! It took forever, so I haven't been able to spend any time on The DIS! All I want to is go through my pictures and write my Trippie! I can't wait to read all of our reports! It's so much fun and we are a part of them all! Even better!

I actually just made some more pumpkin cookies tonight, while I was watching "Dancing with the Stars." The soap is so cool! I even had to turn the lights out to test it to make sure it glows-in-the-dark.

Thanks! Well, the rain did cancel some things and some of the characters, but we had a blast! It didn't stop us from having a great evening! We had to make it work for us! I just love the BBB! I can't wait to start writing about our BBB Meet! It was the best!

OK I have to tell you that your TR spawned an impromptu trip in 3 weeks to do F&W!! I showed my DH the pics u took around the WS and he was hooked! He all the sudden got it in his head that we should go...so I'll have you know it was your lovely TR-ing skills that helped me get a quick weekend Disney fix! So thanks! Can't wait to hear about the party...if we do def make this weekend trip (its at about 85% yes now) then we are gonna do the party too!

We Meet
and then it's off to the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!





It was my first time meeting Carol from TX (GoofyBaby,) Cheryl from NH (tinkerbell87512,) & Jen from PA (jnjusoioa) and I was so thrilled! We really had become good friends over the months and months of planning our DIS Meet! I already felt like I knew them and I couldn't wait to meet them face to face! I knew it was them because they were wearing the same shirt I was and, of course, the lime green! I went in for a big group hug with my fellow DISney Princesses!

I couldn't believe we were finally all together and I coudln't wait to go to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique with them! Jen had come up with the great idea for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Meet! I had never done it before and I was so excited to share that experience with fellow DIS'ers!

Originally, when we were planning on the BBB Meet, the only option was the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Downtown Disney and now the one at the Magic Kingdom has just recently opened! It was perfect timing and Jen got us reservations there, once we found out we could start booking! It was so perfect to get to start our celebration inside Cinderella Castle.

I hadn't seen the new Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique yet and I couldn't wait!

We walked in and we were all in awe! It was so beautiful and I loved the attention to every Princess detail! Jen checked-in for all four of us and we were each handed the coolest pager ever! We each had seperate appointments about 10 minutes apart, so we had some time to chat before we were called back to be transformed into DISney Princesses!

We were each handed a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique pamphlet and our names were put on each one. It had all the different hair options to choose from. We all chose the Coach Package, which includes the hairstlye, shimmering make-up, and the Princess sash! I still hadn't decided on my hairstyle yet. I saw the picture of the Pop-Princess and it looked wild and crazy! I thought it was appropriate for the DISney Princess look!


The Before:

I had such a great time getting to know the girls! We were all so pumped for the rest of the night! Carol was the first to be called back for her Princess transformation. The pager actually is the Fairy Godmother talking to you when it goes off! It was so neat! Carol chose to go with the Disney Diva style! The Disney Diva style came with your choice of faux hair and Carol went with the Halloween hair. It was so cute and perfect for the Halloween party! It was black and white with skulls. She was all set with her Lime Green Baggini and her red Mickey Crocs!

Cheryl was the next called by the Fairy Godmother for her Princess transformaton! Cheryl chose the Fairy-tale Princess, which came with a rhinestone tiara and a Mickey-shaped hairpin. It was perfect for the true DISney Princess!

Jen was the next to go and she also chose the Disney Diva style with the Halloween faux hair! Carol and Jen had a great idea and actually picked-up Pirate Princess tiaras at Pirates of the Caribbean to be added to their dos! They were so cute and they were true Pirate Princesses!


I was the final one called and we had chairs in three different corners of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. I wish we could have all sat together, but we all finished at different times, so we were still able to chat and take pictures. I was so excited it was finally my turn and I was introduced to my two Fairy Godmothers in training. I just loved taking my seat in the plush royal blue chair. I couldn't wait to see how they were actually going to style my hair!

My Fairy Godmother in training brought out a small Cinderella cosmetic palette of eye shadows and lip-glosses. I was able to choose two different eye shadows and a lip-gloss. I went with the blue and gold eye shadows for that Cinderella look and the pink sparkle lip-gloss. I really was loving this and then I found out I got to actually keep the eye shadow and lip-gloss set! Then, it was all topped off with some pretty sparkle blush on my cheeks.

AWWW Lindsey, your BBB pictures are so great!!! Amazing, I am just sitting here wishing we were back there, I miss it so much already and I miss you all so much too. That was truly an amazing time at BBB, glad you are hooked, it for sure is a special place.
