Does anyone know if they are there? I saw a few menus online and they are not listed. I am just wondering since it will be our last breakfast at Disney and our last chance of the yummy waffles for a while!!

They aren't on the menu, but you can ask for them. We asked for them and the server gladly brought out a plate full of the mini mickey waffles for us.

Thanks! I guess it can't hurt to ask. I'm looking forward to the breakfast regardless!!
Never hurts to ask! It is a great breakfast, and one of our favorites. We are going in a few weeks and we'll be asking for them again.

To me it is a bit rude to ask for something that is not on the menu unless you have a food allergy. I wonder how glad the kitchen is that so many people think it is ok to ask for things that are not on the menu.

Oh I am sorry. I didn't mean to be rude. I will not ask for them. Thanks!

I don't think it's rude to ask for them. I've seen multiple people mention that they've requested them and received them so obviously the kitchen is equipped to make them. Ohana and Hoop Dee Doo don't list the children's options, but guests are frequently accomodated there with requests for picky children- or adults;) DD always asks for turkey bacon or chicken sausage wherever we eat breakfast because she doesn't eat pork. It isn't a dietary or religious issue, she just thinks pigs are too cute to eat:rotfl:Most places happily switch it out for her, sometimes they don't have any alternatives available. It doesn't hurt to ask:thumbsup2

It depends on the restaurant. Many better restaurants are happy to accommodate. Even if they won't, it's not rude to ask, since they can just say no. (Unless you're Jack Nicholson.) Just be clear that it's not about allergies, so they don't go to a huge amount of extra effort.

While I don't think it's rude to the restaurant, it can be rude to your dining companions if it delays their food service. That depends on circumstances.

This also illustrates the problem with the change to being a character meal and useful for PPO. Before that, the problem wouldn't have come up, and people who didn't want a Scandinavian breakfast wouldn't come here. But even then, they'd make the waffles to accommodate children or those with allergies.

I don't think it is rude at all. Some people in our family don't eat the eggs and meat that they bring out to the table. Our server was glad to bring them out within minutes. People with picky eaters do this at Hoop Dee Doo all the time too and other restaurants.

Thanks!!! We will talk to our server when we are there next week! So excited for our trip!!
