Were back, and not happy! I want to go back already. Today is my first day back at work, and it is hard! We had a great time, but honestly, I don't know if I will go back again, until we have a baby. I guess just because my biological clock is ticking in overtime, I am so ready to be a mom, and it was tough seeing everyone with their kids, thinking to myself that I don't know if that will ever be me. We had some ups and downs on this trip, it was way too freakin' hot if you ask me, I don't think we will be going again in September. I want to try going back next November instead when it is a little cooler out. I want to write a TR, but don't know how busy things are going to be here at work yet, so we will see. I will probably start one next week sometime. If you have any questions, let me know, I will be happy to answer.
Oh, one thing was we were sooooo disappointed by the food and service down there. It also seemed way more crowded that it did this time last year, although, wait times for rides weren't that bad, there was just a ton of people in the parks on some days it seemed.
Back to the food, the worst of the trip had to be San Angel Inn. The place was packed, we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated for our ressie, there was a tray of dirty dishes on a stand right next to us the whole time, ewww, our apps and dinners came out the same time, and when they did they forgot my nephews meal, telling me I never ordered it. Umm, excuse me, I ordered it, and the waiter even asked me if I wanted it to come out with our meals, or if I wanted it as soon as it was ready. The other problem was, we made ressies for Boatwrights at POR, and again had to wait about 40 minutes to be seated, when we finally were, we sat there for 15 minutes without anyone coming over. Our dinner reservation was for 7:15, by 8:20 we were still sitting there, and the restaurant wasn't even crowded. So we got up and left and ate at the food court instead. I think Disney really messed up. I am not usually one to complain, but I think they were seriously under staffed and not ready for the free dining rush.
