Our trip begins in two weeks! Is this new show considered a "must see" for us? My kids are 6, 4 and 1. They think Mickey is the coolest. :thumbsup2
Anyone know how early we should line up? Or if we could just head to the line at the last minute? Thanks for any advice or reviews!

Great for kids - especially yours think Mickey is the coolest. Mickey is the star!

The best seating is in the center of the house. Being close is nice but not essential.

Just saw it last week and DS10 loved it. We got there about two minutes before they opened the theater (on a Thursday) and sat towards the back/center. The seats were great and we were able to exit the theater quickly when the show was over. We'd definitely see it again.

Also, people were lining up an hour prior. But DD and I walked up with 15 minutes to spare and got center seats midway back. They were perfect.

Is this a show that adults and teens would enjoy? Or is it just aimed at younger kids?

I enjoyed it as a 20yo male, but I'm a fan of musicals and Disney songs in general.

Does the show have stadium style seating or is it pretty much single file? I have a short DS and I wanna make sure I plan on getting there to get him a good seating position :)

I've only seen clips of the show but I'm honestly thinking of skipping this because I don't care to hear yet another version of Under the Sea, which already plays a prominent role in WoC.

We saw the show during the all nighter. They had an AP preview of the show. It is so awsome. Totally incredible. It combines live action and animation. It is good for any age. I really look forward to seeing it again.

The first 10-15 rows are flat but then it is stadium. We sat about 5 rows up from where it started the incline, center section, and my 2 kids (6 and 7) could see perfectly. Great seats.

We got there about 40 minutes early and I've heard of getting there just 15 minutes early and getting a seat easily.

I do recommend it (despite little mermaid being in it) as all the other songs aren't features elsewhere and it was done really well. Disney does over play Little Mermaid a bit too much for me though.

We saw it on Sunday, with what CMs were saying was a lower audience number (although it looked pretty full to me). We had a blast, and this is a highly recommended show. I would call it a don't miss for sure.

My daughter is on the cusp of age 9, and trying to be more "grown up", but by the end, was starry eyed for Pocahontas, Mulan, Rapunzel and Tiana. My son and I dug the other aspects of the show...the lead off with King Louie was very well done. The only major downside for us was the Stitch segment which didn't actually bring out Stitch. I would recommend they include this character in the show tweaks.

Very much worth it, and also recommend sitting down front.

A different point of view:

Compared to the old show that was there 5 years ago I think? This one is lacking. I'm not certain as to why they used a computer generated character for the screen. His movements are not fluid, but a little jerky. Then the songs don't fit with a story really. Kind of a mash-up or something. Maybe they are mixing it all up like they do on Once Upon a Time the TV show? Mulan and the Tangled story don't seem to go together to me.

The non-character cast are wearing what appears to be jeans or something and shirts as if they were just out of the audience.

I left a few minutes early, then went to see Aladdin to remind me that Disney really does know how to put on a good show.

This was on Friday at the last 4ish showing. Audience was about half full, with most arriving after the show started. they came in off the train.

Maybe I'm getting too picky... but it was lacking to me.

We saw it Friday night; special showing for Disney blog readers (included Disneyland entrance as well; but we are already there). I thought it was great. My 6 yr old grandson LOVED it, even though (in his words) he doesn't like singing and dancing. LOL. I thought it was very well done; the costumes & cast were really good. Loved the specail effects as well.

Door open 15 min prior to show time...cast member said no reason the arrive more than 30 min out. Saturday mid day was only 2/3 full with plenty of great seats at showtime.

I saw the 5:40 show tonight. Wife and I arrived at 5:32 and there were plenty of seats. I thought it was a lot of fun, but my one complaint was that during the Lilo and Stitch song, Stitch was not onstage. My wife mentioned this to a CM there and we were told he is coming very soon, so I think they are still tweeking the show. I thought the show was good. We plan on seeing it again towards the end of the summer.

Anyone do the Mickey's Compass Quest? Apparently it's part of Limited Time Magic this week, they hand out a map after the show and you go on some sort of treasure hunt.

MychaelP makes good points, and my wife agrees....the songs did not flow in a story very well...all were well presented as segments, but not in a cohesive story.

Good to hear that Stitch is a planned tweak...that was a strange song and dance routine without a character.
