Michaels vs Joann

These are the only two stores that sell scrapbooking supplies in my town. Do you guys have a preference between the too? Which one has the best prices? Most selection? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

My experience is, it differs store by store. We have a few Michael's in the area that have a poor supply. The one closest to us though is pretty good. I have been to smaller Joann stores that do not carry much, but others have a large selection? I would shop the ads though too like Reddy said. You can view the ads on line, and print off coupons too. I also believe Joann's will let you use Michael's coupons there as well. If you have a Hobby Lobby, within driving distance- it would probably be worth the drive. They are my favorite, especially when they have their paper sales.

I would sign up for Michaels email newsletters. You get the heads up on sales & coupons. Just this week, there was a 20% off coupon entire purchase, including sale prices. Because I got their newsletter, I also knew about their 2 day only sale where paper was 6 sheets for $1 (6 sheets for .80 thanks to the coupon.) I got Mickey paper, red polk-a-dot paper for Minnie, & French paper for very little!

I'm lucky and have Michaels, Joanns, Hobby Lobby and my LSS all within a 5-6 mile radius so not a problem to go from store to store,,,also have the big three in the next town over about 30 minutes away, that Michaels is better than mine, but my Joanns is better ....my Joanns is stocked the best for paper & stickers....I too go where the best sale/coupon is
