Hi All,
I have been looking at the site for a while now. I figured that it was time to join. I am traveling on the July 20 Mexican cruise. In our stateroom it is DS8, my Mom and I.
We can't wait.![]()

I'm Laura - don't know if your new to the boards or not but I noticed that you had only 1 post. Before you can PM (private Message) anyone - you have to have more than 10 messages. So just start posting. Tell us a bit about yourself in many messages and that will help get your count up.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks for all of the support, guys.DH still thinks the DCL will be boring!
I asked him what he thought was fun and got no reply.
The kids and I are totally stoked! We have pirate costumes for the kids, have our formal clothes for formal night, and I just put a big order in with Amazon.com for all the necessities (suction hooks, collapsible hamper, Bonine, sunblock, etc) we will need.
I'm really hoping there will be DCL on the West Coast permanently after the two new ships are built. I know I'd like to make cruising a habit!![]()
DH said no to WDW next summer because this cruise is putting a dent in the vacation budget as it is. I am supposed to go to Orlando for a conference next July and will feel pretty guiltyif I go to WDW and my kids don't get to. I was also thinking of trying to book a 4-day onboard for while I am back in Orlando for the conference. We'll see how the DH likes the Mexican Riviera first!

Kerri - if you any any questions, don't be afraid to ask - DH gets every kind of sick and he usually does pretty well on the big boat. Course we stay away from smaller ones - the tender is Cabo is pretty horrendous for him so I feel for you. Also, keep in mind that the medical center has motion sickness pills for free in case you forget them. Also, Ginger Ale - which they have onboard now - seems to help too.
