Thanks so much for the info..... will keep fingers crossed for the best!Hi Patsy - again - welcome aboard. My suggestion would be for you to book Palo's - depending on how many are in your personal cabin - and if they are over 18 - you are limited. Also, just book it and then call to see if you can do anything about it. If they can't help you then, try again on embarkation day. If you have any over 18 with you - book them and then switch out the names later.
On the 11-Nighter we had a table of 14. We were originally a couple of tables but on the 2nd night, they put them together. So all you can do is ask. Course we all had the same waiter. It helps if that is the case. Just try and let them know ahead of time.
Back to Palo's - on the Med last year - we had two cabins, one of the cabins had 2 newcomers and 1 CC member - due to the CC member - we were able to book 2 Palo's but couldn't ge them together - we got 8 pm and 8:30 pm. Once we boarded we went to Palo's and got them moved to one table of 5 instead of 2 separate appts of 2 and three. In the future, its probably best to see if you can get 2 CC members in different cabins. IE - I would be listed first in one cabin and DH would be listed in another. This way if anything changed - at least we would be able book at the 90 day mark.
Someone on our EBPC cruise tried to book at the 90 day mark but the couple they were linked too were newbies. The system did not allow them to book. Just try and book and then complain and ask. Disney usually does all it can to get you teogether.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for posting us! We are: Patsy(43), DH Namen(40), DS Justin(16), DS Jeremy(13), First Dinner Seating, Cabin #2012 and we are traveling from El Dorado Hills, CA (Sacramento area) - originally from Tennessee!
We also have 3 other cabins with other family members....but probably should get permission before posting their info![]()
Can't hardly wait for the date!![]()

pretty much sounds like us - except really going to try for the Zip Lining Tour in PV.
Not much activity going on over here.Maybe I can get something going.
I just got my Pirate Night costume.I'm really stoked
about pirate night. If I had loads of fun at the Pirate's Dinner Adventure show (the one near Knott's Berry Farm) than I now DCL will surpass that.
When you do that one? DD went and had lots of fun. Sounds nice. I haven't done it yet though.
We went a year and a half ago. I was randomly selected from the audience to participate in one of the events. It was fun. My DD prefers Medieval Times over the Pirate Dinner Show but I don't have a preference. (Though I liked the drinks at the Pirate one)![]()
Hey dlandfan
We just booked at the Doubletree. They have a Park and Cruise package for around 199. It is a one night stay and It also includes breakfast for 2 and parking for the week.
I understand the Holiday Inn has a package as well.
I just received my passporter that I preordered. I have been working my way through the book and am excited. As a first time cruiser I hoped it would give us some good information. It has. I'm now counting the days to when we can make our excursion reservations.
We are also looking for where to stay the night before the cruise. We will drive down from Northern California the day prior.
Getting excited!!!!
