I've had a look at the menus for the 7 day cruise, and to be honest, there is not much my DH will like. He's more of a steak or burger man, and won't like all the sauces and fancy veggies, lol.
Is there another option for him besides eating at topsiders or having pizza? I don't want to eat dinner alone, lol. Can he order from the children's menu? Cause he'd be more than happy to have Mac n cheese :)

My understanding is that he can order from the kids' menu. Also steak and chicken are available most nights in any restaurant, I believe. I've been a little disappointed with the menus, as well. For me it's the opposite reason, though. I'd like to see a little more excitement in them. Looks like room service and breakfast are especially ho hum.

I am a very picky eater and I found something everynight to eat. If you don't want the sauce on the food you just let them know when the assist server comes around with the sauce. I found our server to be very accom. with our needs. Plus if he tries something and he really doesn't like it, you can always order room service or go to the buffet, Topsiders on deck 9.;)

Chicken, fish, and steak are available in all of the dining rooms for dinner. I am more of a meat and potatoes man, but still found something to try at each dinner. Once I did ask the server to bring out something else because I didn`t care for the sauce on the entree.

We just got back from a Wonder cruise and one man in our party was a meat and potato man. He ordered a steak and baked potato every night. The baked potato was not on the menu, however, he had no trouble getting it.

On our last cruise my parents went with us and my dad doesn't like - won't eat! - things too fancy. He didn't have a problem. Flip side was my DH who automatically goes for what the kids term the weirdest item on the menu - he also had no problem.

And if you do order something that just isn't going to make it the waitstaff is great about getting you something else. DD loves pasta and one night it was just a tad too spicy for her (ok there was steam coming out of her ears!) Alan had an alternative for her almost before she asked.

Yes, he can, but let him know he had better order 2 at a time!

DS had been served a very teensy portion of dinner on his plate one night, and was still quite hungry... but never fear, the wonderful head server, Sandra, zipped by & saved the day! She brought him another portion almost instantaneously, when our waiters were no where to be found (actually, they had a table for 15, so I think that must have been where they were at dinner for most of the cruise). Portions are not always small but if you have disappearing waiters like we did, you may want to be prepared.

Just another note on Sandra - she dropped what she was doing at that point to go get a Navigator from Guest Services & discuss movie options w/ DS. She made him feel so special at a time that was close to disaster. Sorry for the digression!
:D
