Memory Maker questions

I have not had the photopass since the days when they gave you a disk of all your photos so not sure how it all works now.
A friend purchased the Memory Maker for her trip next week. She wants to know if she needs to print something out before going? Or does she just get a regular photopass card when she arrives the first day of her trip?
How does it work to get the ride photos included with her downloads? Does she need to do something at each ride to claim the photo?
She is staying off-site and will not have a magic band, if that matters.
Any other tips to get the most of of the Memory Maker would be most welcome! Thanks!

Her hard plastic ticket is all she needs. Photographers will scan the card like it's the old photopass card. For rides, she needs to stop after the ride, find her photo on the screens and tap her card to claim the photo.

One word of warning, without a magicband you cannot get ride photos from seven dwarves and the new frozen ride as well as all the rides that have ride video (there's a few, some have photos as well as video). If she is on the fence about getting any magic bands, you only need 1 for everyone in the same ride car for those photos so she might want to splurge after she arrives and get the kids some bands.

Does she need to do anything to connect her ticket to the photopass account? Or does she put in a code when she gets home to show that she paid ahead for the downloads?

no such thing anymore, it's all connected to your my disney experience account.
