Memory Maker Question

I am interested in getting the Memory Maker for my upcoming trip. The problem im having with getting info is that Im staying for 3 weeks and splitting my stay between two resorts. How does the memory maker work and how long is it good for exactly? Is it the $149.99 and it covers the whole trip or does it tie itself to the reservation number and would have to order two of them (one for each resort). I have annual passes btw. Does it tie into that and is good for a whole year?
Disneys website is so vague with info. Any help would be much appreciated

MM is good for 30 days from the first download and will cover your entire trip. It does not tie into the AP and cover a year's worth of photos.

Your photos will remain on the photopass site for 45 days after they are taken. So after your 21 days at the park you'll have another 24 days to modify and download your pictures.

They are not dependent on your reservation so you will be able to use 1 Memory Maker for all 3 weeks.
