Hi Andy. Sorry the sore throat sent you to the doctor, but lots of ice cream will make it better and also cold mango soup!! You'll have to let us know what it was like staying on the ship all day while in port. DH and I are thinking of doing that in Cozumel in September. Hope you feel better soon!

Glad you are having s Magical time. Sean is a wonderful host - somewhat quiet but very attentive. He took great care of us in 2003 on my first ever cruise.

Sorry Andy I have to disagree with the ice cream....alcohol kills germs!!! Go to Diversions and get yourself a Mojito!! Some carribean rum, mint leaves, lime.....I guarentee after a couple of those that all ilnesses will dissappear! Works for me!

Sorry to hear you got laryngitis. My mom started to get it last week and took the medicine right away. She was so worried that she was going to be sick on their cruise. I hope you're feeling better. Have some good drinks and Ice cream. Enjoy your Day

Being on the Magic - even virtually - is enough to cure anything - I had a headache a while ago and started reading this Live on the Magic thread and now my headache is gone. Must be all the sea air!

Andy - hope you're feeling better so you can enjoy the Pirates party (it's tonight, right?). And I was thinking that the reason it was so cold in the Buena Vista Theater was that it was EIGHT BELOW! They had to get the temp set so you could fully experience the movie - a 4-d effect, KWIM?

We sailed with Captain Tom and Rachel as the Cruise Director. If you get a chance to say hi to Pikey from all his DISBoard fans, he'll know

Hope you are enjoying yourself - I am really enjoying your blog - and love the pics!

Maybe some salt water gargling would help the throat? Or, going with the Lampy - method perhaps you could gargle rum? Captain Morgan perhaps - it is Pirate Night after all!!! Worst case scenario if you drink enough you'll likely forget your throat hurts - at least until tomorrow morning LOL. Hope you are feeling better - take care.

Also Andy, I might have a way to finance your next sailing........if you really have larengitus (sp?) and your voice is going away get some of those zip locks out from the packing list, breathe into them and seal it quick.....I'll bet there are many of men that would buy that if you could quarentee the voice goes away....... if you know what I mean!!!

Lisa.....nice shot! I googled all morning looking for a St. Maarteen cam to repay Andy for all those shots of us sailing!!! Is that a differnt doc from the one we would have been at in 03? I seem to remember looking out our verandah at a BIG ship yard loading area....I seem to remember being between 2 hills........hmmmmmmmmmm
