One of the really useful features of the old website was the listing of unit rates for all dvc properties. I can't seem to find the rates anymore for HH. This is how I keep track of the cost/benefit analysis -- always look there for what the rack room rates would have been. I also look at that to get an idea of whether it is economical to pay for any of our nights.

Am I overlooking this information on the new site?

This is what annoys me about the new website. They appear to have taken away some content. (For example, I can't find the online copy of the 2002/2003 Guidebook anymore) So either they really deleted that content, or the "new improved" navigation is actually very bad and makes it impossible to find things. Well, actually I think the navigation is horrible anyway. They obviously didn't think through the information architecture carefully. Ugh.

I haven't checked but the room rates might be in the public area of the site. If not, you can find them (except HHI and Vero) on the regulard www.disneyworld.com site. (Just looked around again and I can't find any sign of the rate information, either.)

The on-line copy of the guidebook does seem to be gone (it was out of date anyway). In it's place, they seem to have put this information in different places on the site. I discovered this morning that if you click on Resort Amenities it brings up all the information about housekeeping including what's done for T&T, full cleaning, what the charge is, etc.

I'm hoping that they are going to continue to add information and that we'll get used to navigating so that we can find things easily.

Found the Guidebook! Under "Just For Members" then Member Benefits there is an option that brings up a pdf version of the guidebook.

I noticed that the World Passport Collection .pdf files are also gone (or I just can't find them?). This is a work in progress. Do you think we should email MS and request these items or just wait and see?

I do like the new look and feel of the web site.

It's a work in progress and we have to cut them some slack for a few months. However, a polite e-mail requesting a couple of favorite features is always helpful and could lead them to adjust their roll-out schedule.

Some items seem to be appearing daily so I'd give them to at least the end of the week. For example, only SSR had detailed information like floor plans etc. at 9:00 a.m. yesterday. By the end of the day, I think they all had that info. By next week, we should have an idea what might have been eliminated/put on hold.

I think the rack rate for HHI one bedroom was listed as 1950 for the week.

I'm a programmer and a web designer. Cut them some slack? Work in progress? They announced months ago they were redoing the site. All should have been ready BEFORE they turned it live and discontinued the old site. Maybe they're off-shoring their web development like it seems everyone else is doing these days. :(

They are definitely working the bugs out. On the first day I was clicking around the site and noticed that when I clicked too see the map for BCV it displayed the map for HHI. They either realized the mistake themselves or were notified by a member because it was corrected by the next day.

If I were in charge of the operation I would probably appreciate a polite e-mail of any discrepancies on the site so they could be corrected. Just my opinion.
