Shannon (2O Something) Never Been to WDW "Officially". Only to
MK, which doesn't really count. Way too overhwelmed with information and, in general, way too excited.
Melissa (24) Soon to be in WDWCP and obsessive Disney World Planner. Can't get enough Food in WDW, espeically form Kringla Bakery and Whispering Canyon Cafe'! (Of course, I am the "official" trip report writer!)

Day 4:
Today, we got to sleep in a bit, since we were headed to Blizzard Beach. We had a wake up call sceduled for 7:30 am. We got dressed, ate breakfast and headed to the bus stop. We waited at the bus stops at busses arrived for the 4 themeparks. One had arrived for AK, but did not indicate it was also going to BB. We asked the woman who was working the Bus on Demand system, when on would arrive that was going to BB. She told us we should have gotten on the AK bus. Usually, from my experience, the Busses will say AK and BB. However, the bus that had come earlier did not indicate it was going to BB. I didn't want to get on the wrong bus.
Anyway, we ended up at BB by around 8:30am. The park opened a few minutes early. We got ourselves a beach chair and headed for the slides. We decided to try runoff rapids first, since there was no wait. It was a nice way to start off the morning. We headed for Teamboat Springs next and rode with two other girls. This ride is always fun and the more the merrier. We tried the snow stormers and the tobbogan racers next. I had never done either of these slides before and found them to be rather fun. We decided to do the racers for a second time. Shannon and I grabbed our "sleds" and waited our turn. The woman running the slide was not clear and said to "Lay down and go ahead." So, Shannon and I laid down on our "sleds." I proceeded to slide down the slide. However, I was the only one who did so. She had been talking to the people in front of us but looking at Shannon and I. She was not very happy. Oh well....gave Shannon and I a good laugh! We decided it weas time for a run along the lazy river, since the park was getting a bit crowded. We deciced to do a last run of the slides and head back to the CSR.
After a midday break with some R&R, we headed to DD. We did some shopping and had dinner at McDonald's. This was our one "low key" day at WDW...
