thank god i found you!!!!! i have been looking all over for this thread, my dh thinks i'm toast but since i read about you in feb when we first started haunting the boards, i've been gearing up to going to the world and dis spotting. you all seem to have so much fun, that i guess i want to join in to. then when i got back, could not find this thread any where. see you all in sept.

I just found this thread and can not read any more postings today, as I have been on the computer for literally hours! Will someone please update me as to the club rules and regulations, proper uniform (lanyards, bagellini (?) etc), and if pedigree papers are needed?

I will be visiting WDW (ASMu) Sept 22-29 with DH and DNieces (9 & 10). Looking forward to seeing (and even meeting!) fellow Disers.

Ricmiclvsthemouse, what do you mean lurk? Me lurk? Never. I might stomp, I might holler a bit, I may laugh right out loud, but NEVER lurk. Nothing nefarious about me at all.

Mickeyfan came up with the idea of the Fockers, I think. She is at least the one who designed and got us these beautiful lime green lanyards. When you spy a person you believe might be a fellow DISer/Focker you should give them the Focker salute/LOOK.

It is sort of like a man standing on the street corner asking lovely gals for a kiss. He gets slapped often but every once in awhile - something magical happens!! We live for those moments.

I am sure someone else will give you the link to the Focker thread and better information than I did but then what do you expect from someone who just runs around the Boards (in between doing a lot of work) all day long?

MotoXPrincess99, the landyards were thought up and executed by MickeyFan, the fabulous. I will be wearing mine on our trip for sure!

It is a double whammy in that it shows that not only are we DISers but we are uniquely so!

I had to go buy some new clothes yesterday as I have gone down another size. I am getting closer to just plain 'fat' instead of all those darned X's before the LARGE!! BTW, if that is what they say large is what the heck did they call the size I used to be? Nevermind, I do not care to know. There are a lot more of me (both meanings) than there are of those size 0's.

I did not sleep a wink last night, can you tell? I am more than 'slightly' today.

Already my oldest grandson, the one with pinfeathers because he refuses to eat anything but chicken fingers, has called me last night to tell me that he is not coming because he is going to a dance. Okay, no problem. Next call, he is coming, will be late. Okay, I can deal. Next call, can he bring his girlfriend? Fine. Today's calls, he is NOT going to the dance, next call he IS but will be running late to come to the dinner so please hold the meal for him.

Since everyone else will be here on time I am serving at 7. Chicken fingers keep well anyway. One other person has informed me that they do not like chocolate so please leave the cake out of the Baked Alaska.

Are all families like this or am I just blessed?? BTW, all of the these people are celebrating different occasions but not one of the darned people even gave me a BD card. I think I am nuts. Okay, I do not THINK so, I know so. I love DW, I love DW, I love DW!!!!

Gotta go check on the roast. Thankfully everyone likes it well done. Is the way they are getting it anyway.

Flambe is my gs's favorite word of the week so naturally there will be a hot time in the old house tonight. Alcoholic sugar cubes at the ready. I have to contain the heat with small children and errant husbands around.

yes, well we are going to POP at sept 16-22. we are really looking forward to it. i've made 2 trading pin bags for the girls, 3 shirts are made and about 7 shirts more to go. i hope that i can to finish all of these things , as it is, we have to go to Kinkos and try to get the family tshirt logo cut in four so that it will fit on our shirts! will probably mortage house to wallyworld by the end of this
