My oldest was never really in to characters and my DH thinks they are a big waste of time, but my DS6 has been expressing a lot of interest in meeting characters. Since we've never really done this, I know very little about the meet and greets (locations, which characters have them, usual quay times, etc.). I do know A&E is super popular and are not high on DS's priority list. My boys are ALL boy, but they love Brave and YDS loves Doc McStuffins (which I know is only at H&V). DS6 said he wants to meet Mike and Sully, DS2 said he wants to hug Mickey, and DS6 also asked if there was anyway to give Jake a hug. They also love Baymax, but I do know he will be gone before our June trip. I guess I'm just wondering if there are others that I haven't thought of that boys usually love meeting. Are Buzz and Woody only at HS? And are Lightning and Mater there everyday? Also, what about some of the Princes or different characters from some of the princess movies? They do like Rapunzel and Aladdin. Sorry, I know this is all over the place, I just am trying to figure out a game plan that includes some meet and greets, but hopefully with minimal waits to appease DH and ODS. This is one area I know very little about. TIA!

Here are my suggestions:
-Aladdin can be met in both Epcot and Magic Kingdom
-Rapunzel can only be met at Princess Fairy Tale Hall in MK
-Buzz and Woody meet together at HS, but they also meet separately at two different locations in MK. Woody meets in frontierland at the Splash Mountain exit (sometimes with Jessie!), and Buzz meets in Tomorrowland.
-Mike and Sulley meet in DHS
-I think your boys would LOVE meeting Gaston in MK. He's too much fun and loves getting to talk to guys.
-Phineas and Ferb meet at DHS and they're always popular with boys.
-I also think your boys would like meeting Peter Pan. He meets in MK.
-As far as princesses go, Merida is a lot of fun and she's super sweet, she also meets in MK. Tiana and her prince, Naveen, also meet at MK.
-Russel and Dug meet at AK and they're also very fun for boys.

Hopefully, Baymax will still be there. It's an awesome M&G! My son (10) has had some incredible M&G with characters he didn't think he'd care for. One of the best ones was Aurora. She talked to him about dragons and "boy" stuff. He's crowed with Peter Pan. Showed Elsa how to use the force. Made funny faces with Alice, talked about the Frozen castle "takeover" with Cinderella, hopped like a frog with Naveen while Princess Tiana watched, etc. You'd be surprised how fun the characters can be!

Thank you all! These sound awesome! I just read the list of characters that was listed for each park on the Kenny the Pirate site to my two littlest guys, and they said they wanted to meet pretty much everyone except for Mary Poppins and Cinderella. So they will have a blast with any of them, I'm sure. We are big riders, though, so I'm not sure if I want to use a fp on A&E. And as far as Baymax, I read that he is leaving in March. He's probably my kid's favorite right now, so that's a bummer, but apparently they are having trouble with his costume? I hope it's just a rumor and he either doesn't leave or returns!

I'm really hoping Hiro and Baymax are still there in May when we go. My then 4 year old would be thrilled to meet them.
