Me v. Disney: The Battle for My Wallet

Oh my goodness, I am so enjoying this report of yours! I will be re-reading it to see if I missed something. No Better yet, I will print it out and read it later.......maybe at work when I should be working? LOL
A lot of the people we saw didn’t understand the physics of forward motion and for reasons that still escape me, insisted on walking into the path of my stroller

Thanks for the laughs - I cried when it ended,
I need to read more!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're good ::yes::

Loved your report!...it is soo entertaining! I too am part of the "invisible stroller club"! But, I just hit(with the stroller) people who jump in front of me! Oh well, they must be part of the "Invisible walking in front of stroller group"!;)

Great report! We cant wait to go back for our third trip, maybe we will have a funny story to tell everyone too!!

I thought Erma Bombeck DIED (r.i.p.)...and I thought she was a WOMAN too...

Some trip report!

I'm waiting for your BOOK to come out...please advise if you have one in print...

LOL~ I looooved this thing!

Zurg, delswife, joedisney and Kevin Stringer make me smile.....you made me gawfaw out loud! Thanks for the entertaining (with a hint of wry) trip report! Loved it!

Got a great chuckle this morning! It looks like delswife has a run for her money when it comes to entertaining trip reports.... now I know why I never posted mine.... it would be one big YAWN! Maybe I could post it and your could edit it and make it actually entertaining!......................THanks for the laugh!............P

I just finished reading CareBlair's excellent trip report and I join the thousands of others anxiously awaiting Janet 2K's next installment. All of this fine reading now has me longing for another visit to the Place Where Smiles Live and Money Goes to Burn.

While I wait, I wanted to express my sincere appreciation to those of you who read my trip report and responded with generous words of encouragement. Being compared to Delswife, Zurg and JoeDisney is high praise indeed. I enjoyed reading their trip reports before we left on our most recent trip to the World. Their reports inspired me. Indeed, it was Delswife who gave us the courage to walk out of Tarzan Rocks. Three minutes into the show I realized we didn't even like the movie and I wondered what we were doing in the show. I looked at my wife who was either thinking the same thing I was, or was thinking, "Hmmm, Zzub doesn't look that good in a loin cloth." Either way, we both agreed we weren't enjoying Tarzan Rocks. But who walks out of a show? Then I remembered Delswife walked out of the same show. I figured if Delswife could walk out in the middle so could we. And we did. It was quite empowering, I assure you.

So I'm glad to hear that my trip report made other people smile. It makes our vacation seem even more special, and perhaps even tax deductible, when I consider that my trip report may have been helpful to others.

Thanks for the laughs. I am also fond of saying that no one else can make you shell out money like Disney. Great report.

Thanks to the new thread about trip reports not to miss, I just had the wonderful pleasure of reading this!!! Thanks for the terrific story!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: That was great! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Thanks for taking the time to share it with us! I also have signed over the old college fund twice now (Two DD's) because, after all it's vacation, it's the House of Mouse, and it's really hard for a Mommy & Daddy who are also having a great time to say no (although we do have our limits I assure you). :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Three cheers for a great report!

:rotfl: great report...I have to say, my husband feels the same way that you do....how Disney can seperate you from your money. He hates all the planning and knowing how much this trip is costing him. Once there, he is ok and we always have a great time.

I thought i was reading something my husband wrote....although i have to practically drag him to disney, he has the same sarcasm and wit you displayed in your report and of course shares the opinion that disney parts us with our money even more than the govt.....lol!!

great report! thanks for charming wit and sharing your trip with us! :earboy2:

I remember reading this last year. It is a hoot!
