Are food and drinks allowed on the ME? Our flight lands shortly after lunch time. I really don't want to sit and eat in MCO, but I don't want to wait until we get to the Pop either. However, I was thinking of just grabbing some chicken nuggets in the airport and letting the kids eat on the bus, but I really don't want the wrong kind of pixie dust thrown at us! Is this OK or frowned upon? TIA for any info!

I don't know about food, but I've taken Starbucks coffee on every time...all you can do is ask, but I'm sure it would be ok.

If we have to wait at all on the ME, my boys, with their ravenous appetites, will devour the food before we get on the bus! BUT, just in case, I thought I would ask.

I think it depends strictly on the driver. I nearly always have a CS credit left on my last day that I use to carry food to the airport. I'll also have a bottle of water that I try to drink before we get to the airport, so I don't have to pour it out before security. Twice the driver has seen me with the bottle and made the announcement that no eating or drinking is allowed on the buses, but none of the other drivers have ever had a problem with it and sometimes I'm sitting in that first seat right behind them or across from them, so I know they see me. I go to WDW several times a year and use DME every time, but have only had to put my water up twice. The rest of the drivers didn't have a problem.:confused3 As far as food, I did see a family eating some fudge once and the driver asked them to finish it before they got on the bus.

The official word is no food, and only closed top beverages on the buses. If you are concerned about the kiddos being that hungry, I would bring some peanut butter crackers with you that they can munch on while on the plane or on the way to the bus. Or some fruit or such.
It has been my experience that the drivers will tell you that food isn't allowed on the bus. It can make a horrible mess, and attract bugs..this is Florida after all.

Goofy is right it's my been my experience that no food is allowed on the ME busses. We always pack snacks for the plane ride. Then just grab a late lunch at your hotel. Make sure they have a good breakfast too that might help.

Offical rule is no food on Disney busses, be they Magical Express or Resort busses.

If you are going to grab food in the airport, you might as well take 15 minutes and sit an enjoy it. No need to rush for your bus. Think of it this way: Spend 15 minutes at the airport and have a happy family, or put off eating for an hour and a half and listen to everyone complain for that whole time. Which family would you rather spend time with?
