MDE/Split Stay/FP+ (sorry!)

Hello,
I really have tried to find the answer to this questions so I'm very sorry for repeating what has undoubtedly been asked before.

I'm from the UK so magic bands aren't posted to me. I'm planning a split stay both parts on property, for 2017.

My question is what to do about the 2 magic bands I'll be issued. I understand each reservation is treated independently, and I know MDE is the place that stores the info, not the magic band. But I will be buying 14 day Ultimate tickets, and the dining plan for one part of my stay, and want to book ADRs and FP+ for both parts.

When I check in to the economy resort, how will the band be linked to MDE (because I won't have it in advance) and will all the FP+ ressies be there?

Here's what I *think* will happen:
Both hotel reservations will show in MDE
All fast pass and ADRs will show on MDE
We arrive, first magic band is linked and enjoy first week
We move hotel, second magic band is linked (not sure how) and then EITHER magic band will work for the rest of the stay. Yes? No? I'm confused!! Thanks for your help!

Disney will link the band to MDE before you walk away with it, much as they do when mailing to a US visitor. There is nothing for you to do or worry about with that.

You have one MDE. All the ADRs and FP+ will be there. Two sets of MBs will be linked to MDE, and will be usable interchangeably.

Consider MDE like your grandma, and a Magic band like a phone. You can use multiple phones to call grandma, but it's the same grandma on the other end regardless of if you use an iPhone or a Samsung Galaxy.
