MCO to OKW-what grocery store for the "directionally-challenged"

What grocery store would you recommend enroute from MCO to OKW? We'll be traveling 417 and I'm very directionally challenged-more than a few feet off the main road and that's it-I'm lost! You can imagine how many trips around WDW we've made (Did you know it takes an hour to get from WL to Epcot?) So I'm not so concerned about cost (we're just picking up a few things anyways), but if I get lost on my way to WDW, I"ll really panic! Any recommendations on CONVENIENT grocery stores?

I recommend the Albertson's on Orange Blossom Trail, which is the first main exit off of 417 from MCO. The exit ramp goes straight across Orange Blossom into the Albertsons parking lot. The entry back onto 417 is that same intersection out of the parking lot. There are stoplights so it is incredibly easy.

hi: i usually go to albertson's as well. you can see it from the road; it's near the home depot there. it is really easy to exit and return to the main road.

Another option is just to head to Disney and then get oriented. You can go to Goodings or the new Winn Dixie from DD. Head out Hotel Blvd (or whatever that main drag is called) and straight across to Goodings. If you prefer W-D, turn left instead and it will be on your right. A little trickier, turn right at the light and then turn left into Little Lake Byran. This road will take you to the new Publix.

How do you get to the Super Wal-Mart I have read about? We want to drop everything off at OKW first then head to the grocery store. I was hoping the Wal-Mart prices might be a little more in line with what we pay on a regular basis.

Are the Winn-Dixie and Publix grocery stores pretty nice?

I like the Publix off 192, the W=D had those weird self check out stations I'm not very used to. Walmart is a distance down 192, can have very long lines.

Stay away from Goodings! We are at OKW right now, we shopped at Winn Dixie on Friday night. This afternoon we needed a couple of things so we ran into Goodings since it was closer and we just had lunch at TGIF. I could not believe the prices! The 12 pack of Dasani that we got at W-D for $3.99 was over $6.00! Was looking for just a quart of milk, they didn't have it. We ended up walking out and headed the mile down to W-D. W-D does have some self check-out lines, but they also have regular. I got their shopper card a couple of trips ago and save some $ with it. It's never very crowded, clean, good prices and easy to get to, especially from OKW.
