$279.00 - 4 nights (includes roundtrip air from Omaha) at the Suburban Lodge Universal Studios and entrance into Universal Studios. This is the newest "in spot" in Orlando! The high tech rides are way beyond what Disney World has to offer. The park is designed for adults and children over 10.

Sounds too good. Your views?

Is this per person double occupancy or per person for 4 of you.....If double occupancy it is not a bad deal....figure airfare from Omaha on sale at 200 RT so that is 79 times two or 140 for four nights or 55 night for a hotel room.....are there taxes on top of this or are this taxes included?....if taxes are extra add about 60 dollars a person for air and hotel taxes....you make the call.....and in my humble opinion you can do all the high tech stuff at Universal in a day, and then go to Disney for real "magic.!!!!!

Is the ticket just Universal Studios or IOA as well? (Meaning is it a one park ticket or a TWO park ticket?)

Any restrictions on the ticket?

I personally love Universal/IOA, I love the technologically advanced rides.

But you probably could do better. I got a $39 rate at a Hampton Inn, and a flex ticket for my two week stay.

All the factors should be taken into consideration and as everyone's pointed out, this cannot be decided until we know how many 279s are being charged.

I stayed at the Suburban Lodge the first year it opened. I stayed there for a week for $179. It's a very nice apartment style hotel on Major Blvd, literally down the block from Universal/IOA. They are VERY inexpensive, and if you call personally with your dates, you might get a very good deal on your own.

As for doing Universal in one day, that's not possible. The two parks deserve their own day each. They are wonderful entities of their own. I went this past January 5 days in a row and STILL didn't do everything I wanted to do. Your kids will love it.

And if you check my signature below, I'm more than a fan! :D Join us at the USF/IOA Board and learn all you need to know about the parks, tickets and hotels.

See you there!

Luv2Roam,

I'm in Omaha too and most airfare from here that I've seen lately, is $180, so it sounds like a great deal to me! Depending on how nice the hotel is of course! :) Where did you find this deal!:D
