Question on Trans-Pacific ? Clocks forward or backward every night

Hi.

Quick question for the knowledge base.

On the Trans-pacific ; Honolulu to Sydney or Sydney to Honolulu, on which one do you set clocks forward every night and lose an hour of sleep?

We have been on the PC to Barcelona, and had to set clocks forward most nights, and I ended up wishing we would have done the other route (westward)?

Honolulu to Sydney - backward (and jump forward a day during the trip)
Sydney to Honolulu - forward (and jump backward a day during the trip)
