hi wdwpirates...the cruise documents should be going out sometime this week or so...if you booked your cruise thru a travel agent then your documents will go to them and then your agent will get them to you. if you booked directly thru disney then they will send them directly to you. they normally send the documents by fedex, dhl, or registered mail (at least they did back in 2000) when i called about it at the end of this past week i was told we should start receiving documents roughly around the 20th - 25th of this month hope this answering your questions

Its been lovely and warm here in the UK so feels like holiday time!

I hope they mail our cruise docs out before the 25th as we're leaving on the 26th for the aiport! No worries, we'll just sort it out at the port if necessary!

might want to give disney a call and let them know you are leaving on the 26th and want to make sure you have your documents. they will make every effort possible to get them to you right away..we had that issue with our first disney cruise and we called them and told them we would be in florida a week bvefore the cruise and wanted the documents before we left and they overnited them to us within that week.

ok i need help...i was just out looking for some spray dewrinkler i read it somewhere on a post on either here or the passporter site that its a spray you spray on and it takes the wrinkes out of your clothes so you don't have to iron them. has anyone heard of this or even seen it?? was going to get some so we wouldnt have to use the irons on the cruise as i heard they arent the greatest to use.

i did go to the laundry mat and grabbed the small boxes out of the machine for laundry..figured it was alot cheaper getting them here then on the cruise at a 1 per box.. i got 2 for 1 here i also bought me a bottle of febreeze allergen reducer and sprayed down the furniture.. i am on a roll now. next is cleaning the van out.

Gee... we were back on page two! Any ways....I have two more bags mostly packed. This cross packing takes so much time. I've never made lists before of what was in our bags, but since we are flying and they seem to lose so much luggage, I figured I better.

It's been cool here the last few days. No rain though. I sure hope it's nice when we leave on the 4th.

Just checking in. Tax time is almost over. We work til noon or so tomorrow and then off wednesday. I worked 11 hours today BLAH!!!

I have started packing too. I have everyone's pile in the living room and have a good idea of what I'm doing (that will be a first)

Well this weekend was a shopping trip to WalMart. I got myself some wrinkle releasee too. Also I purchased all my pharmicutical needs. You know the Pepto and advil. Stuff like that so if needed I have it handy. DH has a weak stomach eating new foods. I also got the closet shoe storage. I can see how that will help with all those tiny things we will have on the cruise.
Today was the day I purchased my DS birthday cake to be in the stateroom.. In addition I called about my children passports but they said call back on the 18th and then they will update the departure date. So I get to stay on hold for another 30 mins. before talking to a person...

Well I cannot belive there is 19 days left. I have to start getting ready... I wish I was more on teh ball like most of you...

I got my luggage tags from WDW, to use from the cruise to PORFQ last week.

Karen - Are you going to DW after the cruise? We are as well. I didn't know that we were supposed to get luggage tags to WDW from the cruise. I am assuming that you are taking the DW bus. We will be taking it back to the AKL, but I have not received anything yet.

I can't wait to get my first documents...even though there won't be much. I am just so excited and can't wait to see the kids faces when we approach the ship.

Yes, we are going after. when I called to make my reservations at the hotel the gentleman on the phone suggested the bus. Apparently lots of people will be on those buses!!
I got my new computer!!! Just tonight. I have to see what is different between xp and vista, but first things first....I wanted to say hi and say 19 more days!!!!!!!

we are taking are disney passes for the parks as we have a couple days afterwards that we could do a park or something but we aren't commiting to anything till it gets to that time frame.

seeboo..believe it or not i am way behind on my usual planning i do for our trips. i have not even touched the suitcases for a week now and i had to force jonathan to try on his clothes for the formal and semi-formal wear.. darn teens it's 65 degrees out today so i am going to get the van cleaned out.. i just finished my antibiotics for my sinuses so we will see how it goes the rest of the week.. i have not taken any other meds other then that for afew days now so hoping they stay tame from here on out. i spent yesterday doing a bunch of general cleaning nothing trip related.. although dh did get his carry on bag with the pepsi in it and added a few more bottles to it and took it for a test run for weight

right now i think i am impatient with the documents..i want them NOWWW oh well...we have been checking into possible buying into the dvc and we have decided so far that if we can sell the two we have currently then we will invest into dvc if we cant sell them then we won't but either way we are going to check into it while on the cruise

Just wondering how many people are DVC and is it a good thing? I have seen them around and just never really thought much about it. But it seems like a yearly event that I am doing something Disney...

I think we are going to try to hit AK on Saturday to do Everest. Then, MK Sunday, Epcot Monday and MK Tuesday. Unfortunately, I don't think we will make it to MGM this time. We will be back though in November, so I guess I can wait till then.

Do you have luggage tags too for the Disney transfer back to WL? I wonder if I should call someone...

They are definitely sending out cruise docs or already have.......on Monday I got a call from Disney cruise line saying that my zip code did not match my town, so they wanted to make sure they had the correct address. so.....those docs are coming soon!!!!!!

anyone else not real prepared? last cruise, I had lists, everything packed and bought early, etc weeks before.....this time I haven't started one list, and not even done shopping yet to even start packing!!!! This is so not like me!!!! I mean, I am excited, but just not as motivated as last time....I think I dread it getting here, becasuse than I know it will be over soon.....weird, huh??? To me, planning is part of the fun!!!!

seeboo- I own DVC......and love it! we were going to Disney twice a year anyway, so it was silly for us NOT to buy in. We bought in May 2000, and it has been a great 7 years....not one regret!!! In my opinion, I think the points for the cruise are way too high, so we pay cash for our cruises, and use our points for WDW stays. (we did trade out once to a hotel in NYC) But I have friends that use their points to do the cruise and they think it is worth it.....just depends on your point of view!!! If you have any questions, I will be glad to answer!
