Hello all , i am panicing again, 3 weeks from today I will be going to bed to get ready for my adventure. Are we supposed to get documents in the mail. I am not usinf DCL transfers so no need for luggage tags but have been reading about documents although I have done the online check in should i call them TIA Help!!

Sherrie relax and breathe.. the documents you will be getting will come in the mail and according to disney they are going to be mailed out in about 8 days and they normally come registered mail i do believe..i had to do a follow up call on this today as with us leaving a few days ahead i had to make sure my timeshare company didn't hold on to them and wait to mail to us as disney will be mailing to them and them to us..( bad part of using an outside agent ) but these documants will be your boarding passes and luggage tags and such ...the luggage tags are needed regardless if you are not using the transfers.. these tags tell them where your luggage needs to go for your stateroom and such. so in the 10-15 you should have the final documents needed for boarding.

Thanks tracy i really am hyper ventilating, I just called Disney and she said it was just the same docs as the online check in she didnt tell me about the tags. You are better than them. next weekend is my grandsons second b'day. Katies brother and my stepfather is 80. So that is a shot weekend we are in the process of painting our dining room and all the stuff is moved in my kitvhen , Havent even tried on shorts from last year and lost a few lbs. The clock is moving a bit too quickly. i can't wait but hope i am ready. Like my freind tells me bring the charge card and if you don't have it. buy it.

kind of expensive way but it will work.. ....i know how it goes with disney they don't give a whole alot of info at times..i have to pull teeth from them at times to get my questions answered. i learned the first time we went that if i worded my questions just right then they would answer me with more info then i really needed

dh has been doing deep cleaning of the house now to prepare to vacate it for vacation... i should be packing some more right now but just not there yet i usually have half our stuff packed by now oh well always tomorrow

I also did find out today thru Disney that if you want to bring bottle water or pop on board then it needs to be in your carry on and not in check luggage as they say it would be considered fragile as it could break and they may not accept it. not sure how accurate this is but someone suggest i put a couple in ziploc baggies and pack them in the middle of the clothes and see what happens... that way if they break they are at least in a baggie.

We are suppose to get our new washer and dryer tomorrow, then I can work on our shirts.

I still have to get a bathing suit and I still have to get DS some water shoes. Just waiting now for those Docs!

I am so excited our room rate just went down 90.00 at the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal the night before the cruise! I called to see if the rate went down and they offered me an ubstructed view room. We are ready to go cruising now! I can't believe you all are so ambitious with your packing, I haven't even started thinking about packing yet!

DS brought DD's computer home. Mine is done for... the tech said the hard drive is gone...
DH hasn't got the luggage down yet. But I do have folded piles going!! Yesterday I bought Madison and I gold hoop earring to wear with our pirate costumes!! I got shoes for formal night. I will have to spend a few days wearing them around house to break them in! I have looked everywhere and no one has sun dresses. Most of the dresses right now are made of a stretchy poly and cling to every roll and and stick to every roll if you sweat!
I missed Amber's birthday.....Happy birthday

I ahd to go and pick up a package from the post office today and was really hoping it was our cruise docs ....sadly not though.......wish they'd hurry up and come!

I have to be with me doing pretty much all the packing for 4 of us...the oldest one does his own packing but he's not allowed to actually pack it into a suitcase till we approve of certain things. we have had times where he was told to pack something and didn't and packed some trashy crap instead..didnt make us too happy when he had brand new clothes to pack then... i did get ambers suitcase mostly packed last nite..i am working all weekend this weekend so not sure what all i will get done.

The most packing I have done this week is getting the suitcases moved from the closet to the exercise room. Now I have to trip over them when I go in to exercise! And yes, I have actually been using that room! We have lived here for two years and it's the first time that room has been used! LOL

I keep hoping our cruise docs will show, even though it is only luggage tags and Bahamas Immigration forms.

3 weeks from today we will be heading to the airport in about 2 hours from now!

Just curious...has anyone gotten offered any upgrades yet? Does anyone know how full our cruise is? We are hoping to upgrade from an outside room to one with a balcony. If we can't get it, that will be fine. If we can, that would be really awesome!

I don't know if they offer upgrades to you. I think you have to seek them out yourselves at the port. Unless you get a surprise in your Docs! Right now I went to our cruise date and put in the ages of your kids (it all depends on how many kids are on the cruise) and it is showing Cat 5 and Cat 6 still available to book which are verandah rooms. If you were to book them now it would cost around $6900! (with air) $5700 (without air) At the port if available you might be able to get a good upgrade.

I just checked our room and it's gone up $2500 since we booked it over a year ago!

Amber just showed me the disney ship made out of pins that we have from our first cruise we took and asked me how much longer till we get to go on that ship? i told her 3 weeks and then she asked how are we getting to the big boat and i told her we will have a long car ride to where the boat is and then we will be on the boat for 7 nites..so she says do we have to wait 3 weeks till we leave? she is taking the wait alot better then i thought she would but i can tell she is really ready to go as well as we are.

i want to pack more tonite but i am having some dizziness from the powerful meds the doc gave me so i am doing some other things in small spurts when i can

i sure hope the next 3 weeks go by fast..although i think once we got those documents in the mail will be when the excitement will boil over. good thing i am working all weekend..will make the time go a bit faster this way. ..still need to hem up ambers princess dress for formal nite and order my stuff for the room.. maybe i'll do that while i am sitting down.. have a good nite everyone.

tracy work on getting better the packing can wait, My freind that just came back told me that she wished she hadnt packed so early because she way overpacked and forgot what was alreay in there. So that made me feel better at least. Aren't you worried about all of the wrinkles packing this early.

oh i am more concerned with getting rid of these sinuses right now more then anything. i can't be on these meds when we head to florida as i am helping to do some driving.

i have a list of what we need..i normally put things like jeans and t-shirts, socks, underware, things that we dont need to worry about wrinkles in the suitcases and about 3-4 days prior to leaving i go thru each suitcase and do my check off from my list. Anything that will be wrinkle issue like our dress clothes i have hanging on the back of our bathroom door in the garment bag but not zipped up or folded..that wont get finished off till it is ready to be put in the van and it will be the first bag to get opened once we get into the stateroom. which reminds me i need to get some of the dewrinkle spray someone told me about. we have done soo many trips here and there that very seldom to i find that i have overpacked..we always carry an empty suitcase too for extras.. amber is the only one that i will pack a little extra for as she seems to manage to get dirty without ever trying
