No cruise docs yet over here, but we did get a full price offer on our house!! We are set to close a week after we return from our cruise I have no idea how we are going to do it! I haven't even started packing for our cruise yet! We also need to go house hunting for ourselves now .

ok i am jealous of you that have your docs..maybe ours will be here today.

We are checking into the dvc but we may not buy in right away as right now we cant aford it with owning 2 other timeshares less then a mile from disney so unless we sell those two we aren't going to do dvc..but if we do sell those 2 we are considering dvc since we go to disney at least every other year.

and no i am not as prepared as what i normally am for vacations..i need to go to walmart to get my wrinkle releaser yet but everything else i have just need to pack..i did spend 3 hrs yesterday cleaning the inside of my van..it was really bad..i think i collected a gallon size baggies of stuff from the kids alone ( food and such ) still need to do amber's car seat but otherwise i am working on my packing lists this week and next week is a busy week so will finish packing when i can. we are working again all weekend this weekend and i am happy about that as i may have a chance to get ahead on bills a bit before we leave after all..yeah. well i am off and running again.

I think we are going to try to hit AK on Saturday to do Everest. Then, MK Sunday, Epcot Monday and MK Tuesday. Unfortunately, I don't think we will make it to MGM this time. We will be back though in November, so I guess I can wait till then.

Do you have luggage tags too for the Disney transfer back to WL? I wonder if I should call someone...

We are using Sunray Transportation so we will have our own luggage. We won't need tags I guess.

Got our docs today. They come by UPS!

Best part is tax season is over. I survived. We leave on the 1st for Florida. I get today off with pay and I'm using it to make up for being gone to my kids.

ok how many of you that got your docs went thru a travel agent? i don't really expect our till next week myself but i can keep dreaming it will be today or tomorrow right?

goods news is i found a recipe to make my own homemade version of the downy wrinkle releaser and i am going to give it a test run either today or tomorrow to see how well it does..if it does well then i save myself a 30 min trip to the nearest walmart otherwise i will go and get somet his weekend if it fails.

I made the coolest little tags for our luggage today. Ok...we already have bright orange luggage tags with our name and address inside, but I took 2 green Mickey Heads from Home Depot and glue them back to back and then punch a hole in the top and put a zip tie thru and then put it on the zipper on our luggage. (the section we don't put anything in except our itinerary in case of lost luggage with my cell#, and extra zip ties in case they need to replace any they might have cut off for security). Now I can really identify my bags at the airport! They seen pretty durable. I'm hoping they stay on!

Well, I was hoping to search for a bathing suit this week, but had to wait for the phone repair guy yesterday and the day before, and now today am home waiting for the gas guy. I think when they hooked up the dryer, they didn't do a great job because I smell gas! oh...there they are now...gotta go!

pigglet..sounds like you need more utility people to visit you you getting your laundry all caught up now?? i love our new dryer but really am wanting the washer now to match it but can't aford it. oh well maybe later on this year after my garage sale i will get it. thats a neat idea on the luggage tags. I was thinking about getting the color strips from our home depot that had the mickey ears to do something similar but i don't ever think about it when i am close to one.

well i am officially a lifetime member of weight watchers now i just have to weigh in once a month and hope i don't gain it all back on the cruise still got a bit of my sinuses yet but hoping they disappear once i hit the house hard with cleaning. our cats are shedding like crazy right now so that doesnt help matters.

My cold has settled in my chest big time. I am really tired of coughing. I need it to be gone to start that "vacation feeling". Right now I am just cranky..

PPpiglet: gas leak, sounds scary, glad they got it fixed. Great idea on the mickey heads. But I was curious about the itin in the pocket. Do you include a copy of the entire itin and add on your cell phone then lock it in? I worry about security things, like someone finding out how long we are traveling for and where to, but realize with lost luggage, this might be the best way?

Tracy: thank you for doing the updated address list.

Kimberly: Thank you for offering to print out my transfers, I actually got my printer to work and got them printed yesterday! It was an all day ordeal, in between running out to work and running errands. I got the tshirts and will iron on the transfers today. We just went with the design you made for our embarkation (the CInco Dis Mayo) and then used one of Ryan's of the Black Pearl for Pirate night. So the three of us will have white tshirts with Green decal on. Still trying to figure out how to decal the arm with say five mickey heads or something to represent every sailing we have done?
How's the new job going?

No dOcs here yet either! We always go through DU and usually get the docs about 2 weeks before, so don't plan on seeing them until next week.
Last year UPS just left them on the doorstep, so Karen- no worries, I am pretty sure you don't have to sign for them.

wdw..the mailing list we started mainly for the kids but we are going to continue it after the cruise for all of us to keep in contact as well. but we created a regualr mailing address .list for the kids to exchange xmas cards, valentine cards, some of the old ones exchange letters.. we are hoping that ( at least i am ) that we can continue this after the cruise for the kids to keep in contact and keep exchanging letters and such..but it has also been a neat way for the kids to get to know each other with pics and cards before the cruise as well. if your interested just pm me your name address and ages of kiddos. and those without kiddoes if you want to join you can as us adults can stay in contact too you know


recipe for wrinkle releaser...put 2 cups water in a spray bottle ( i put in a different bottle to mix and poured in a spray bottle then but you could mix right in spray bottle) and add 1 teaspoon liquid fabric softener ( any kind i had snuggle on hand myself) shake and mix it good..will cause a foam at top which is why i opted for the second bottle for mixing and to use just lightly spray on wrinkles, smooth out with your hands and you have wrinkle free ...note: heavier wrinkles may need more then one smooth out and spray

MickeyD.....actually I just put it on a little slip of paper about 1"x2" so that if our luggage did get lost and they looked they would find it. I put it in the front pocket that I don't lock with extra zip ties in case they need to replace any they might cut off. It just has my cell# and the day were at the hyatt, the dates we are on the cruise and the dates at Wilderness Lodge. If my luggage gets lost temporarily, I would hope they would forward it to me asap.

I think if it did get lost it would be in Florida somewhere, so anyone that did find it probably wouldn't fly to Calif to get into our house. And if they did, I already rolled my stash of quarters yesterday so their out of luck! woo hoo....I had $180!
