when we were on our cruise in 08, and this past time... there was a wedding each time. I know if you get married on the cruise, you actually get married before you set sail in the States. but then you have a ceremony onboard too. and I know there are "weddings" on Castaway Cay too.

we went to Disney on our honeymoon. :) both of our first times at Disney... now it is a habit!! :)

Can you believe tomorrow is daylight savings? Seems so early to be Springing ahead.

We are having beautiful weather here today, but it has been gloomy and cold all week.

Joining in on the fun, the trip is booked. Even though it's still a while before we cruise again, I am very excited and can't wait. After being in the dream maiden voyage now I am ready to continue the fantasy. Looking forward to meeting people, hopefully meet before or during the cruise.

Welcome!! How incredible you got to go on the maiden voyage. That must have been such a great experience. How did you like the new ship?

Welcome to the new families!! :cheer2:

I've been forgetting to check in on this thread now that our other cruise is so close. We will get home from that cruise the end of May and find ourselves less than a year until this one :goodvibes

We haven't had daylightsavings yet, but my body and dog have switched over already. I blame it on the birds!

Count us in! Can't believe how long ago some of you booked.

We sailed on the Dream last week and LOVED it. :cool1: Our first Disney cruise and we didn't want to get off. Would have booked the Dream again but wanted a minimum of 7 night! Can't wait to board the Fantasy!!!!

Anyone up for doing FE exchange? My DS absolutely loved it

:welcome:

I am so glad we booked early, we had booked a dummy date when we were on our last cruise to get the discount and the OBC since we knew we would want to do the 7 day on the Fantasy. We just moved the date once they were released in October!!

We are just like you, we just did our first cruise last September and did not want to get off the boat. So wish we had started cruising long before...

To add a vacation countdown you can go here: http://www.***********************/main.php

Thank you for posting the link!

I went to the site, set it up and understand I need to copy and past but where do I set this up so that each time I post it acts as my signature. I've tried looking around but don't see where I put it.:confused3

Thanks for your assistance!

Just changed our stateroom to 8086.

We were booked on the deck 10 midship but I was worried about potential noise from Deck 11 considering there is so much going on there. We enjoyed Deck 9 midship on the Dream but it wasn't available so we took Deck 8. I'm sure it will just as great!

I am happy to hear you liked deck 9 midship, that is where we are booked and it looked like a great location.

As far as your ticker:

Create the ticker through the steps on the site, then copy the pseudoHTML

Then go to User cp, find edit signature on the left hand side of the screen, then paste it into the signature box and click save signature. HTH

I think I finally got it. Appreciate your help!:worship:

What room on Deck 9 do you have? We were very happy with our stateroom & sure you will be also.

9579. We were on deck 6 on the wonder and I thought that was a great location, the kids club was only one deck down and if the elevators were to crazy it wasn't that bad of a walk up on deck or down to 4. I thought 9 would give us that same ability.

We were in 9088. I think you are just on the other side of the ship. Close enough to the stair to make it convenient but not too close to hear traffic. 2 decks up to food/drink. We took the stairs the entire time and never had an issue with traffic and got some exercise at the same time. I'm certain it kept the weight gain down to a managable number:laughing:

7 days on the boat eating non stop, I will need anything and everything to help keep the weight down :lmao:

Looks like you finally got the ticker on your signature!!

Just got off the Dream on Sunday. While on board we booked this cruise.

My name is Robin, while I am new to this website, I am not new to Disney Cruising. This will be my 12th Disney Cruise.

It will be me and my husband - Mike and our son Matt (17 at cruise time)

We are currently in a 6a which is in gty status, so I won't know my room number until later.

If the Fantasy is anything like the Dream (and it will be) it is awesome. Loved all the resturants and Palos is even more beautiful than on the "Classic Ships"

Note on the Dream Cruise we were upgraded to 6512. This room was awesome. Although it is not listed as Handicapp Accessible on the website, it is. It is a double wide room with two windows. On pirate night, we just laid in the windows on the built-in cushions and watched the fireworks from our room - no crowds.

Welcome Robin!!

I am glad to hear you liked the Dream. Did you attend any of the Pirate night activities? How was Castaway Cay when you were there, did it seem overly crowded?

What was your original category that you booked on the Dream?

Since it was a "Way too Short" cruise, we focused on the ship and skipped both Pirate night and Castaway Cay - other than watching the fireworks from our window - which were awesome. We did Palo instead of Animators Palate on Pirate Night. We knew we could check it out on the next cruise.

We wanted a Cabana on Castaway Cay but even with Boarding Group #1 and being first ones on board after Concierge, we were not able to get one. Love the Platinum Member perk of getting Group #1.

We had booked an inside Cat 10 on deck nine (don't remember exact catagory) and were bumped to the 8A on Deck 6.
