May 25th, 2013 Fantasy Western!

I'm afraid I may not be able to make the 2:00 mixology. How long is the class?? I have to take Jade to the BBB for her birthday at 3:00. We may have to remove me from the list.

I think it is an hour?:confused3 I know our tequila one was an hour.
Let me know if you want me to take you off the list for sure though.

So Lauralooneyfordisney and I were kicking around the idea of getting a photographer for a group picture. DCL wants $85 just for the photographer and then we'd still have to buy copies (albeit NICE copies) of the pic. We're thinking that there HAVE to be a few good photographers in our group that could take some pix during our Meet & Greet and post for us to download later. We also think it would be a good idea to set up a time for the picture so you know when to be there. I'm not sure how we'll get everyone in a picture at D-Lounge, might have to be several pictures. Anyway, thought I'd float it out there to see if any amateur (or PROFESSIONAL??) photographers are in our group that would like to tackle this.

We're thinking 2:30 for the picture so people would have time to get to 3:00 gatherings (Spa Raffle, Ship Tour, etc).

Thoughts? Comments? Volunteers?

Photographer volunteer right here!!!

My husband loves to take pics but hates being in them. I will get a link to his Flickr page later so you can see his work.

Will we know where we're meeting before departure?

Sorry, quote didn't show. This question is referring to private Mixology tasting. Do we tell CM upon boarding that we are doing the private tasting? Pay 1st day or on Thursday? Or will it automatically be charged to our cabin when list is submitted?

It is supposed to be automatically charged to your stateroom account which is why I needed names and stateroom #'s. You should see that as of the first day. You will not have to sign up or do anything else unless I hear different since I am taking care of all that. I do not know where yet and I think that will be on our tickets we will get in our room. I will find out ahead of time I am sure just not yet. Our meet & greet is at 2:00 at D Lounge on deck 4 the first day though.:yay:

Hey Everyone,

First time on Fantasy and was hoping to learn some secret tips for boarding day. I remember reading somewhere about passing the main elevators and heading to a different part of the ship to get to Cabanas. Any ideas/thoughts? :)

Boarding day is not too bad for the midship elevators, but you can walk all the way to deck 3 aft and those elevators will dump you off right outside of cabanas. My main trick is when the shows and such let out the elevators are ridiculous, so we either go to the aft ones, or push down. They will only go down one floor and you will at least be able to get in an elevator.

Our last cruise was on the Dream & we hardly ever used the midship elevators. We found that if it was just 2-3 floors, we hit the stairs. Otherwise we used the forward or aft elevators. It took us a day or two to get the hang of it. Actually delivering our FE gifts was the best orientation to the ship. LOL :goodvibes

I think I have the names and numbers right this time. Sorry about the mix up with one of the names. I also added one so now we are 38!

Thanks so much for setting this up. I am so looking forward to this and was not looking forward to rushing onto the ship to sign up for this with the potential of it being sold out. I think I will still try to ge a wine or champagne tasting too and maybe tequila or whiskey for DH. I swear we are not friends Bill W;). This is my first Disney cruise participating on the dis boards so I have no comparison but I share the opinion that this group rock! :cool1:
