Hi Marcums, this is the Macoms answering LOL
Anyway, I think the last time we cruised on the Magic it was 12. I was very hesitant and gave our son a walkie talkie - if only he'd used it. We lost track of him once when he ditched me to go play black light dodgeball when I thought we had a date to see a movie. I was freaking out since the counselors for his age group didn't require that the kids tell them where they are going.
Our DDs on this cruise will both be 9 and they will not be checking themselves in and out of anywhere. Now that our DS is 14 he can but he's going to have the phone which wasn't an option on the Magic 2 years ago. Bottom line, it's up to you if you want the older kids to have the option or not

so you can tell me to shut up if you want to, but would it be worthwhile to have a "Kid's Corner" at the Meet & Greet for the kids to get to meet up front? I know there's been a lot of talk here and there on the board about getting specific kids introduced, but should we make it more formal? I'm not sure if we would want to go as far as activities like the bingo cards where you have to find other kids that meet a square's info (plays soccer, has a dog, has been to DL, first cruise, etc).
